- In this long-awaited finale to the first season of Standard Action, the party - bumbling as they are - is the only thing that stands between our villain's lust for power and the sleepy land they call home. Crom help us.
P.S. Wait for the credits to finish to see a special extra scene!

Thank you for not giving up on us, and watching to the end! :)
Nice work! as usual.
It's 3 a.m. and I just finished watching this serie all in a row. It was awesome! I couldn't stop clicking "next" even though it meant not sleeping. Thank you all so much for this great great experience, can't wait to watch the second season!
I see he still has the convers of sneaking
Come with a bonus charisma point
Just finished the series and all I can say is, WOW! This was amazing. I loved how every character's flaws made them unique to the story. I've been playing D&D for awhile now and this was hilarious. Great acting and great storyline. Can't wait until Season 2!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this, one of the few things in my life that has brought me a considerable amount of joy. please keep making stuff like this, you guys are amazing!
porto copen I got good news! you got 2 more seasons already online!
Woot! telling all my rpg buddies.
Wow thanks for for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
...A bard leveling up to an electric guitar.
That's an awesome setting.
Not going to lie. When I first started watching these (Yesterday) I didn't think I could keep watching them. They have gotten really really good. The character development, camera work, music. Serious but at the same time campy and fun. Really good guys! Definitely got a subscriber here.
Hey, just finished watching the series. It's wonderful. I really really like it. Thanks a lot for that.
Me too, thanks this is great ;)
The feels I had watching this season finale.
Really, really enjoyed this. Thank you for the hard work and for sharing your creativity with us.
+Stan Wolford Thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out seasons 2 and 3!
I was really skeptical of this series at the first two episodes, but I really love the characters, how they've developed, and the way it is written. Great job, I hope this continues.
@Bormindin The forest is a tiny dog walking area behind our makeup artist's house. You can see houses from most angles, but we're creative.....
Edda's really genre savvy. Good for her. Glad to see that they didn't just leave the Big Bad alive to chase after them again.
Excellent! I want this on DVD, can't find it anywhere. You rock, Joanna!!
Thanks. I was brought to this show after hearing the last sentence from a video with the actress who plays the barbarian was reviewing the Pathfinder Begginer box. Loved it!!!
How did I not see this whole series until now? So great :)
Orlando? the magic shops husband? the history buff? just happens to be near by? coincidence? i think not
Love it love it love it! Outstanding job, guys: the writing, the filming, the production, the acting, all of it.
we have it all planned out in the feature length Edda backstory film. Just need a budget
And so the party is victorious! Huzzah! Though I find it surprising that he was taken down with just one spell...
My thoughts after watching the series: First and foremost the actors and actresses did an outstanding job. They played their parts very well. The story was well written. And from what I've read it appears most of this was shot is someone's back yard. So the special effects were much better than I thought they would be.
Great job on this series, my favorite character is definitely Edda, I think she is only pretending to be a low level illiterate barbarian. There is definitely alot behind her.
D'awwwwr, Martin's smile is pretty much the best thing ever X3
Reminds me of thee Ol Guild, Republic of Buccaneers Den (UO). Great job, camera was awesome.
"Hey, no give it. Our loot." Edda is the best!
That was awesome. Great work!
Wow. Epic series with an even more epic ending. I hope and pray there's a season 2.
@Magehaven There are a lot of anachronisms in the series, actually - we talk about boybands and jazz, hand sanitizer... and Martin wears chucks. It's part of the reminder that this isn't high fantasy, and it's all a bit tongue-in-cheek. We wanted the viewer to be reminded that these are more like D&D characters in a game than epic adventurers in a fantasy novel. Thanks for the question!
Yeah Level 2! Does this mean that there is going to be 20 seasons?
Wow.. so many Episodes with nearly no special effects and now BAM ^^
You don't have to wait too long! We're post-producing season 2 right now!! :)
yep just finished shooting it last week. Will be releasing stuff in Sept. Need to promote ourselves at conventions over the next few weeks in hopes of making season 3 happen!
They finally all did their jobs. The barbarian distracted in melee combat, the sorc did massive damage, the druid healed and the bard died. Just like its supposed to happen.
They're all level 1 at the beginning of Season 1.
How did I miss this? Stupid new youtube layout. >_<
Anyway, finally the finale! And suitably epic to boot!
Oh, and I see you made a point out of displaying Martin's sneakers, hah!
Lastly, pretty spiffy magic effects. :)
@jonydude Great comment! Thanks, actually, there are a few plot hooks though!
Wait, I just realised! Orlando Lagrange! Is that supposed to be Veronicas husband?
You guys should do more :)
Wow, this was awesome. I found the first episodes to be entertaining, but a little goofy, but the show really kicked off afterwards... cool characters, interesting locations, well-paced storyline... and if I saw that right, season 2 seems to have been funded has well. Really looking forward to see more of this! :)
Did you guys shoot in Cowichan Bay at all? There is a pretty good larping community up there.
Edda has to be my favourite character. She plays the role of a barbarian yet we all know she is smarter than one.
Oh please tell me that there is going to be a season 2!!!! I only just discovered this series today, finished it and now I am stuck wanting MOOOREE!!!
Cannot wait for season 2
😂 The ranger wears "sneakers", I love it!!😝
If you’re talking about Martin, he’s a druid
Wow. I just loved the chemistry in the "I don't wanna kill you but I gotta" moment. You tied everything up quite nicely. Too nicely. There is no new cliffhanger, except the white dragon I guess, but meh. Think you could get some love interest happening?
So I'm curious. Why chucks for Martin? And a close up even at 4:55. Everything else reflects a fantasy genre period choice except the shoes.
Are you guys ever going to do a season two? And if you have, where can I find it?
They did do a season 2. Have you ever looked for it? It is on UA-cam too.
That is so awesome. I can't wait.
Because Chucks surpass time period in their awesomeness!
@Magehaven some suggest it's because we're big Dr. Who fans. Others suggest we might be angling for sponsorship....
I really need a season 2!
Edda doesn't fuck around. She's like," I seen enough hero stories to know happens when the bad guy is alive."
I thought the series started kinda slow and, well, maybe quite "dorkish," but it improved as it progressed and I wanted to see how the characters would grow and overcome their basic klutziness, which actually they did in the big climatic fight scene. So, All's well that ends well. In my humble opinion, Joanna is quite the writer and plays a good chaotic neutral elf and Edwin the Bard is an excellent comedic talent. The other actors must have done something right because I grew to enjoy them in their various roles, although I cannot say they were stand-outs. Overall an entertains production.
Yes+10 epic seasons
I liked the video quality, the framing and the camera movement. Some of the shots left me some what confused. The editing and visual effects were clunky. I do say that humbly and its not intended to be hateful, please dont misunderstand. Honestly I wish I could have helped edit it and helped with the visual effects. To be honest, the fact that you were able to get people to show up and do consistent work is epic to me. Cheers!
Good story and characterization.
Way to get epic. Love it!
Torvold's death was the best scene in this series.
I can't wait for season two!!!when is it coming?!?
Torval should like listening to the sound of his own voice. It was pretty epic.
@MrChainblader That is quite a mystery... I wonder if it'll be addressed in Season 2? ;)
Wendy rushing barefoot to fight a white dragon and rescue Martin! I have got to see this in season 2 :-)
A cliffhanger if there ever was one.
epic...good acting...love it
Oh my gosh yes. And he healed them!
I only now have understood *what* was that roar in the end! :)
what was it?
"It's a white dragon" I'd be scared if it was the one in ten that are smart... like on quest for the heart stone in my experience... which was on a mountainside.
Martin and Astrid... are just so adorable!!! X)
its been 11 months. Any news on that budget?
Are those boots of elvenkind that the druid is wearing?
If only you were there to have edited this. Oh without you they were simply helpless.
I guess that growling is just Snuffles having his belly ache...
I watched all of these back to back and was disappointed . yes disappointed that it ended here at episode 13..I searched frantically for episode 14 in vain..I really hope I dont have to wait to long for a new season to come out..if I sound to critical..good..its been awhile since I have watches something as entertaining as this.btw... great work on all of it!!!
Why does Martin wear converse shoes? Budget reasons?
No, Martin, don't go for her! Astrid is your destiny!
pretty good series....4:58 sneakers lol
The bar keeper was behind it.
Ya I remember the exact moment I stopped being scared of Freddy Krueger, when he stepped in to the light
Y know... I really was kinda like.. meh for like the first five episodes.. but to be honest you guys are really fucking into this and I love the cheesiness of it, the banter and just general dnd stuff. hope you don't find that insulting! Make more!
In the end I thought that was Snuffles with a tummy ache.
You all could do a Kickstarter to raise funds for it.
Martin's a hipster, that's quite clear. Fernando may well be the main guitar of the Rolling Dices or something like that.
Here's hoping for a full Edda episode, I find her awesome!
@PrecutThracian Just never tell the bard about the actual plan.....
No! This can't be all, where is the rest!?
question WHAT POWERS does a druid have?
+Ramiro Galletti All of them.
Depends on the edition, but in the newer ones:
Divine spells every other level up to level 18 (9th level spells)
Either an animal companion or a cleric's domain (pathfinder at least)
The ability to cast summon nature's ally spells spontaneously
shapechange, and later on they become immune to things like magical aging as well as gain the ability shapeshift into other humanoids.
They aren't really healer's like clerics but can cast cure spells, and can do things like produce flame (martin's favorite!) as well as spells like entangle and magic fang.
Well shiitake mushrooms...apparently it's not that Martin can't heal, it's that he won't heal...and he won't heal because of some very specific reason as yet unrevealed in his backstory, it seems. Too many reaction shots of him anticipating the consequence(s) of his choice. All is not well in Martin's world...((good luck Martin!))
she rerolled as barbarian.
@shineshadow Now you know why it took so long for this episode to come out! Lol. :)
4:25 You censored "fuck"??
k to website and purchase stuff. Great series.
....well, that...ended...abruptly. It kind of feels like the final battle was a more little more than rushed. And those goblins never got their day. Seems like they're meant to stay second-class citizens.
In your end credits, mention to like and subscribe, lin
hay when did thay have hi tops back then lol
@MightyOdraude333 Shhhhhh! Martin doesn't want it spread around.... ;)
Asssstridddd >_> make sure to make her part of party!!!!
Haha. That is no orc horn....
The series is amazing, but there should be a lot more "likes" in the stats.
@BookGirl92 you better believe it!
@CRMillers What about a woman scorned?
I just wish that the powers that be in Hollywood would sit down one day and watch this and shows like this. Then maybe they'd realize there are wonderful story ideas and writers out there. Maybe then they'd start putting out better shows and stop trying to remake everything.
