Awe, it's so adorable when a dog befriends a baby! Our dog and 9.5 month old are best friends now. They even play with each other! It's incredible to see.
Was she vaccinated for everything ? Maybe its not an allergy? I hope it goes well I've had an allergy test done didn't hurt at all I'm sure she will cry but I promise it isn't really that painful
Please, PLEASE make sure Chell gets all of her vaccines! It is really, really important, and there is no actual medical evidence that they do anything bad to you. Also, she won't remember the allergy testing, and in the long run it could really help her, because it may sort out this issue!
@12:27 ... just look at how natural it is. Our relationship with our "guardians." (what Dean Koontz and I call ... dogs. 💜) *SO* Beautiful. Chell does & will love animals: one of the most precious things to teach.
I had an allergy test when I was little and even though it sucked it's very important to get it done. I was sent to the ER and almost died because of an allergic reaction, and have had a few other ER visits due to them. You guys are doing the right thing especially since Chell is so little and can't voice to you when she starts feeling off. No one wants to get the test done but it's the only real way to keep her safe. My allergies were so bad we found out I couldn't have my clothes washed in anything other than Dawn soap (it's a dish soap but it's so gentle they use it on animals during oil spills and it does the job), my skin would break out in rashes no matter what detergent was used, even the hypoallergenic stuff. She's so young she probably wont even remember it, although I'm sure it will be hard for you to watch because you're her parents and love her so much. But it's going to be ok, I'm sure the process of it is quicker than it was in the 90s. Similar method but probably much quicker, or at least I hope!
That ending was so adorable! I love seeing animals and babies interact because you can tell that the animals were being gentle and patient--especially the cats!
I feel for you on learning what babies are sensitive to in the first years. The NOT knowing how to 'solve the problem' makes us feel inadequate as parents and providers. ESPECIALLY with your 'first'. Don't stress. It'll work out eventually, and the experiences will go a LONG way in learning how to handle future situations. You 2 are great parents. Don't ever lose sight of that. God Bless.
So sad for Chell. And y'all. Our oldest son had to have allergy testing, but at 2yrs. It is so tough. I'll be praying for y'all Friday. I still haven't found a great solution for his eczema either. Parenting is tough. Y'all are doing an amazing job!
I know it sounds crazy but when my son was little he had bad eczema and the only thing that really helped him was after every bath I coated him head to toe in coconut oil. We did all the prescriptions, OTC products, lotions, you name it but the coconut oil made such a difference that even our doctor started recommending it to patients.
Penny & Chell will be best buddies forever. If someone besides me was holding one of the kids when they were babies and they started to cry, our pitty pups, Ninja and Butch, would jump up and look them eye to eye like, "What are you doing to my baby - STOP IT!" That bond was forged between the dogs and every one of my four kids. Never had to worry about anybody getting too close because they LOOKED dangerous, but in reality were the biggest marshmallows in the world. Oddly enough, our cat was the same way, but HE would bite and scratch anybody he thought was hurting one of the kids.
Since it's winter, the eczema might stay worse until the weather starts changing again. I've had a lot of skin issues since I was a kid, and winter is always brutal because of how dry it makes your skin. So, just keep doing what you're doing. Keep her hydrated, use lotions that seem to work for her, and go through with the testing (just in case). You could also talk to the doctor and look into humidifiers to use in the really dry winter months.
So happy to hear it's not talc! I really loved the grey couches y'all were looking at those were really nice and that rug was beautiful!! The allergy test is a rough thing for all parents because you Love your child. However, you are doing the right thing. We had a little boy in our church who was allergic to air it seemed like but it was the only way to protect him in the future. So don't fret it's important to find out now so you aren't harming her later on.
When both of my children were born they had a rash like that on them. Their pediatrician first told me to wash their clothes in a non allergic detergent. I was so happy that the rash got better and eventually cleared up completely. They ended up not having to go through the allergy test. That was such a relief. I love to watch your videos. You and your precious family are awesome.
Okay, I worked a 12 hour day and took a few minutes to watch this video at lunch, but being home and watching again...I love this vlog! I really like the sofa and carpet you chose. It looks to me like there is a bit ice blue in the carpet. That color would look good on an accent wall. Kristen, I'm big into song lyrics too. It makes me feel so old that Cory didn't even know the Eagles performed the song. Loved the dad joke! Chell is beautiful...her eyes are lovely!
My daughter has an allergy test when she was under 2. She had constant sinuses which ended up turning into ear infections. She was constantly on antibiotics. She also was underweight. She was mildly allergic to mice, cockroaches, ladybugs, milkweed, soy, dairy, and some antibiotics. It's way easier when they're little. She's 12 now. It's easy to tell when she is around or has something she's allergic to. She get mean and irritable. 2 weeks of Allegra, and she's back to normal.
Lol omg I couldn't get over penny's face at the end there when you said you didn't know what she'd done. Her face was like "omg I got away with it? I think I did...if I just keep smiling all will be ok" XD
Good morning right back at ya! That clothing company have really picked clothes that suit you both they need to sponsor you 😄 ok let me finish watching
It's so hard with the whole eczema thing I had it bad when I was younger and eventually grew out of it. Sometimes it's one main factor or a combination of them (diet, dust, animals and all sorts) but hopefully you find out soon x
I don't want to add to your worries. I just want to say my son daughter (more so my son) had baby eczema, and both have nut allergies. I'm NOT SAYING that Chell is allergic to nuts, but I do want to say to be cautious what you do feed her no matter the outcome of the back test. Both my kids, just this past year, took allergy tests where they prick the skin of their backs with possible allergens, AND took extra nut allergy tests, and all tests said they are not allergic to peanuts, BUT they are allergic to them because they still get an allergic reaction to peanuts, like rashes, etc. The back skin test is not necessarily conclusive as to what allergies Chell might have. Just keep a close eye on her, as I know you always do! Good luck, and my healing thoughts go out to Chell! 💗
I love knowing that all of us viewers are part of your family, seeing Chell grow up and all that. She's such an adorable baby! I hope you guys find out soon what really caused all the redness from her skin. Also, get well soon, Kristen! xo
Perhaps adding some color to the new couch would brighten things up such as with pillows - maybe a a design with orange color (portal like), or some blue or something else you guys would enjoy seeing in your living room. Love watching your vlogs! Good luck!
We had leather couches when we lived in Alaska. I find them easy to clean when baby food gets dripped on or smeared on. As for the couch getting too cold in the winter we didn't have that problem since we had heating. Or you could always keep a throw blanket on it somewhere. Just my opinion 😊
Love the couch and rug you looked at that will look so good. -side note.. I've had allergy testing done it doesn't hurt at all so don't feel guilty about having it done she will be fine
I feel you on the eczema!! I'm having the same problem with my son! it's so frustrating and drives me crazy but breaks my heart at the same time to see him scratching all the time. good luck to her! would love to know what possible allergy she has...maybe that's my son's problem too! get better cutie pie! mommy and daddy will make you feel better soon!
Someday, I will have a wonderful life, with a wonderful wife and kid or kids, and also fur children other than my doggo I have now. It's hard to make those first steps to make my life better, but if I want to truly be happy, I have to do it. Fist bumps and hugs to you.
I remember the anxiety that I felt when my daughter was tested for the same symptoms. Three separate Dr. visits, 142 little dots, but this too shall pass! Chell is such a happy baby, and Kristen, I think you made the best decision by having her tested before introducing her to solid foods. Good luck tomorrow!!
Allergy testing changed my life for the better. I had been mis-diagnosed with ADD/ADHD for years. It sounds bad but it can really help in the long run. Best wishes and hope all is well.
Pretty sure they said in earlier videos that they've been working on all soaps, detergents, softeners, etc. I'm sure the doctor has mentioned that possibility, too.
When my son was born, he was a premie, and struggled with life. As he grew, he was losing weight, and looked like he was starving. It turned out he was allergic to the formula he was on, because I could not breast feed him due to my being sick. When he got older, they ran more test on him and found out he was allergic to almost everything he had been eating. Allergy test do help! Seeing the furbbaies are making me cry though, as I just had to put my furbbay down yesterday due to him having cancer in his jaw :(
I had to put my daughter through some major test at three months so I completely understand how you feel. I had to learn how to put a nasal gastric tube in and out which is a whole other guilt trip and then major surgery and a gastric button for feeding. You do what you have to do to keep your child alive and find the laughter you can. Wait till you see the contraption they use to x-ray an infants chest, you either laugh or break down completely.
I promise you, it isn't as bad as you think it will be. My daughter had the allergy test when she was 7ish months old. She cried for just a few seconds and that was it. She ended up scoring a 4+ out of 4 for an allergy to cows milk. It's so worth it in the end. God bless y'all.
If you have a bathtub you don't use much, you could put the litter box in it. We do that and the cat can get in, but our small dog can't!! And it contains all the litter with easy clean up. It works great.
Just a totally unsolicited decorating suggestion... :) I loved the gray couches, loved the gray carpet, just didn't love the idea of them together! Too much grayness. I would have a carpet that brought in what ever your accent colors would be! (Sorry, was just channeling Martha Stewart) Love you fam!
you guys are awesome I remember your video back in 2007 my vary first video I saw was mean kitty cat song loved it when I was twelve and still do as of today and I love watching your wife be silly just like u 😁 your daughter is to adorable especially with her beautiful eyes just like your wife's eyes as well
Alaska's daylight looks like what we have in New Hampshire right now. Around 3:00pm the sun is so blinding (driving is difficult), and by 4:30pm it's dark already.
Do you guys run a humidifier in her room at night? I suffer with eczema and it helps me a lot in the winter. Hope she feels better soon you guys are awesome parents!!
Don't worry too much about the allergy test! I had to get it done when I was little too because of respiratory issues and the only difficult part I remember was the waiting (mine were on my arms instead while being told not to scratch at them). What makes time pass easier is having your parents in there with you distracting you, though :)
Maybe it's the laundry detergent, we have to use All Free and clear, my whole family has skin allergies, and that has seemed to work for us. That furniture is pretty, can't wait to see what it looks like in your living room. Maybe for paint, stick to neutral colors. it makes the room look really big. Hope yall figure out what Chell is allergic to. I will keep yall in my prayers.
My friends baby also had eczema. She was breast feeding at the time and the eczema just wouldn't go away. She was looking at natural remedies online when she came across a website telling her to change her OWN diet to non sugary, mostly kinda vegan for a bit. It actually worked and the baby hasn't had any eczema issues since. Took like a week and a half to clear up. I think she did the change in diet until the baby was on solids.
Hey Cory! I have been tested for allergies and it doesn't hurt at all. It's very painless, and I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. It may be different but the needles are super tiny, hopefully this made you feel a little bit better and I hope Chell starts feeling better soon!
I think your huge couch is amazing. Does it really matter if can or can't see it in the videos? I don't think anyone ever thought 'I must watch Live Each Day just so I can see the couch. Anyways ultimately it's your decision because you live with it and sit/lay on it. Chell's smile really make me smile. She is adorably cute! 😆 Also, with or without vaccines you can get sick. Vaccines are not 100% guarantee you won't get sick. Also, eating healthy and exercising is not a guarantee either.
Penny looks guilty when it's the cats that did something wrong, too. Just a thought! Chell is such a cheerful baby-bright-eyed and curious. She's so sweet. I think changing up the furniture and doing some painting is a good idea. I like the same couch you guys did and the rug you found was nice too. Good luck at the doctor's office tomorrow. I hope you can pinpoint what is causing her eczema. By the way, the animals bonding with baby girl-so cool!
hey Cory. so sorry to hear about her exima. I have had cronic exima since I was about 2 months old. I have some wonderful products that have helped me since I was about her age. I can email you some of what I use and what my parents used to use on me when I was her age if you would like :(
Both my boys had infant eczema head to toe. We moisturised 4times a day at every nappy (sorry, British!) change with creams the dr gave. You will find your routine to keep it at bay. Look at the ingredients in the creams to see if anything flares the eczema more. On of my sons was allergic to wool and wool alcohol that is in certain creams. We used steroid creams now and then too. Both have allergies. It's horrible seeing them go through being itchy and uncomfortable knowing there's nothing you can do but you will find your way to get a routine going. Loved you from the mean kitty days so glad to see you settled with a beautiful family! 😊
I've had allergies my entire life....I grew up with allergies to all dairy products (which caused extremely bad eczema from head to toe), thank goodness I was lucky enough to grow out of it before I hit my teens. Please don't worry and feel bad about having Chell tested, it's for the good of her wellbeing and you are doing right by her. Hopefully it will lead to a solution and enable you to help treat her skin issues. Once I was tested and found to have dairy allergies, my eczema was so much easier to treat (didn't go, but it was much better and I was able to cope with it in the right way). 27 years later, I am now deathly allergic to all nuts but also allergic to all raw fruits and vegetables...but at least I can eat chocolate now :P Also, I know you're careful about what you use and don't want to use potentially harmful ointments and creams on Chell, have you tried Organic coconut oil? I find this is the best and most moisturising thing i've tried and natural, which is a major bonus. Calendula ointment/cream is a very good alternative. Good luck xxx
Don't worry about the tests - babies don't remember them, I only remember my tests from when I was 6 and I've had them since I was born :) My daughter never remembers her early vaccinations either - only when she jumped off the couch and cut her head open on her toy box and it needed gluing earlier this year and she'll be 4 soon. Babies are so resilient. It's us parents that cry like crazy for them :) It'll be worth it in the long run to find out now before the allergies develop/mutate into a worse reaction.
The table that you have next to the sectional downstairs should go upstairs for sure and replace the little one you found. It'll make the downstairs area feel less cramped!
As someone who has had eczema all my life, the worst when i was a baby and kid. It will never go away. I am now 24 years old. and just get small patches on my wrists and legs. Nothing to crazy anymore. Basically all you can do is keep doing what you are doing, and just tame the itch it causes. Gamma Oil was by far the best thing that my mom gave me when i was a kid. There was no cure sadly, but it helped tame it down a lot.
Hey guys, eczema is a fairly common presentation in kids. You guys probably already know this but it is key to identify the irritants for Chell. This could be anything from soap, fabric type (clothes, car seat covers, carpet) and contact with pets (I really hope this isn't the cause). It could also be food allergy as this occurs more commonly in kids < 12 months of age and tends to present with widespread eczema. P.S: Vaccination isn't linked to eczema so please don't let this be a reason to not immunize her. I really hope you guys work out what the cause is :)
My heart melted when Chell pet Penny. So sweet. Poor Penny, she has a guilty conscious. What a good puppy she is. Great video!
Awe, it's so adorable when a dog befriends a baby! Our dog and 9.5 month old are best friends now. They even play with each other! It's incredible to see.
that's so cool, all babies should have animal friends,:-)
Bonnitadecarvalho decarvalho I think so too! It's also great learning and interaction for them :)
You're absolutely doing the right thing to have Chell allergy tested. The pinpricks won't really hurt her, and at least you'll know. So important.
@12:27 ... just look at how natural it is.
Our relationship with our "guardians." (what Dean Koontz and I call ... dogs. 💜)
*SO* Beautiful.
Chell does & will love animals: one of the most precious things to teach.
Seems like only yesterday we went through these episodes with Chell....how time flies.
I had an allergy test when I was little and even though it sucked it's very important to get it done. I can't wait for December 21st to come because after that day we get daylight and chell is so cute
So wonderful seeing Sparta, Loki and Penny giving Chell so much love.........♡♡♡♡
That ending was so adorable! I love seeing animals and babies interact because you can tell that the animals were being gentle and patient--especially the cats!
Have you tried different laundry detergents? My sister had bad eczema when she was little and certain laundry detergents and soaps made it worse
that would be my guess as well..something with no harsh chemicals
Dove soaps really worked well for me. Udder balm works really well for extreme flareups.
I was just thinking the same thing.
Chell's face around the animals is an absolute picture! I think you have 4 best friends there.
God Bless.
It's so cute to see how she loves to interact with the pets, such a lovely girl! And those eyes!

I adore The Eagles! Always will:)
"The Eagles" by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner.
All the best to your darling baby girl:)

No matter how shitty (sorry for the language) of a day I'm having, you guys always cheer me up
loved the kitty tails in Chell's face... ^_^ adorable!
Chell + kitties = cuteness overload.

She has grown so much! gosh she's get'n big!
Watching Chell play reminds me of "The Allman Brothers Band - Blue Sky" :)
God bless her !
Good morning from Pensacola, Florida
So glad to see you got the baby powder that uses cornstarch!
I'd never heard that talc can cause ovarian cancer. It's really strange
Yes, they've suspected it for a long time. Recent reports have confirmed it's a factor in some cases.
Some talc contains asbestos.
I hope Chell feels better! She is so beautiful. Love you guys.
Just as I was thinking I can't get over how adorable Chell is, you said "She's so adorable"! You're so right!

London Afro Vegan Recipes i have a psoriasis type condition and have found 🐐 goats milk soap and gels help me !!
Did you look at Cozy Interiors in Eagle River? They have nice things too. We just had them do our floors.
loved the way kitty is teasing chell's hair
That life moves pretty fast quote is from Ferris Beullers Day Off.
The new couch is light and airy and I love the cool tones.
The giant chair is wow cool!
the couch with the big back pillows and the small white pillows with the blue and olive colored design that Kristen sat on suits you guys 😃

YAY CORY POSTED A VIDEO ON MY BIRTHDAY
Animals and babies, my two favorite things together!
Perhaps adding some color to the new couch would brighten things up such as with pillows - maybe a a design with orange color (portal like), or some blue or something else you guys would enjoy seeing in your living room. Love watching your vlogs! Good luck!

Penny... she's so goofy. She reminds me a lot of my dog.
Someday, I will have a wonderful life, with a wonderful wife and kid or kids, and also fur children other than my doggo I have now. It's hard to make those first steps to make my life better, but if I want to truly be happy, I have to do it. Fist bumps and hugs to you.
A beautiful shade off light grey paint looks fantastic in a home.
LOL again Fossel Grey with White trim. Light, lively and goes with every color.

Maybe Chell is alergic to the fabric softener.
Gabriela Maza ooh good point, or the type of detergent they use!
Pretty sure they said in earlier videos that they've been working on all soaps, detergents, softeners, etc. I'm sure the doctor has mentioned that possibility, too.
Historian212 I didn't hear them say that, we'll just have to wait and see what the doctor says.
When my son was born, he was a premie, and struggled with life. As he grew, he was losing weight, and looked like he was starving. Opps just realized I did this under my gaming channel and not my youtube viewing account!
I'm so sorry for your loss, our fur kids leave their foot prints across our hearts.
That they do, it has been a bad year all around for me, so this last blow took the wind out of my sails a bit.
Sorry for your loss. The year is almost over. I pray next year will see a more positive and happy time for you.
I'm so sorry for your loss...
Aww. You guys are so adorable! 😊

You guys have the cutest baby! I love her blue eyes.
Thanks to you guys I just discovered that The Eagles song, Take it easy! Awesome! Thank you!
Good news on the Telc./Cornstarch insight! Thanks for sharing!
Chell has such beautiful grey blue eyes!
you guys are awesome I remember your video back in 2007 my vary first video I saw was mean kitty cat song loved it when I was twelve and still do as of today and I love watching your wife be silly just like u 😁 your daughter is to adorable especially with her beautiful eyes just like your wife's eyes as well
Chell was so excited when she was playing with the pets lols
Loving the new outro!
have u guys thought of some antiques?
Alaska's daylight looks like what we have in New Hampshire right now. Around 3:00pm the sun is so blinding (driving is difficult), and by 4:30pm it's dark already.
I'm not even a fan of cats but OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sparta's tail pattern! My dog has a rattlesnake-looking tail, too haha
Yes cornstarch! I should have watched the full video haha. but get the plain type nog with aloe or whatever 😉
The Eagles !!!!!! Great band from California !!!!
"Life Moves Pretty Fast" sign is a quote from Ferris Bueller's Day Off!
By the way, the animals bonding with baby girl-so cool!
lol @ Loki petting Chell with this tail. :D
That is Little River Band singing that song. One of my favorite bands. Saw them in concert this year.
hey Cory. so sorry to hear about her exima.
This makes me so happy
I've had allergies my entire life....I grew up with allergies to all dairy products (which caused extremely bad eczema from head to toe), thank goodness I was lucky enough to grow out of it before I hit my teens. Please don't worry and feel bad about having Chell tested, it's for the good of her wellbeing and you are doing right by her. Hopefully it will lead to a solution and enable you to help treat her skin issues. Once I was tested and found to have dairy allergies, my eczema was so much easier to treat (didn't go, but it was much better and I was able to cope with it in the right way). 27 years later, I am now deathly allergic to all nuts but also allergic to all raw fruits and vegetables...but at least I can eat chocolate now :P
Also, I know you're careful about what you use and don't want to use potentially harmful ointments and creams on Chell, have you tried Organic coconut oil? I find this is the best and most moisturising thing i've tried and natural, which is a major bonus. Calendula ointment/cream is a very good alternative. Good luck xxx
Rice cereal is good for first time solids , no allergies. She will sleep better too. We live and learn, trial & error. Good choice on couch.
Don't worry about the tests - babies don't remember them, I only remember my tests from when I was 6 and I've had them since I was born :)
My daughter never remembers her early vaccinations either - only when she jumped off the couch and cut her head open on her toy box and it needed gluing earlier this year and she'll be 4 soon. Babies are so resilient.
It's us parents that cry like crazy for them :)
It'll be worth it in the long run to find out now before the allergies develop/mutate into a worse reaction.
The table that you have next to the sectional downstairs should go upstairs for sure and replace the little one you found. It'll make the downstairs area feel less cramped!
while you guys where talking about the ``take it easy`` song it was playing in the store!!
Penny looks so guilty 😂 When my dog does something bad, he just looks proud!
