    Can we clean the pump and bottle and put it in the sterilizer?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  7 місяців тому

      Hi Tejal. Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Philips Avent Breast Pump and the Philips Avent Bottles. Absolutely, you can clean your Philips Avent Breast Pump and Bottles with ease in a Philips Avent sterilizer. For the breast pump, you can sterilize all parts (except silicone tubes, caps, motor, and adapter) in a Philips AVENT steam sterilizer or by boiling for 5 minutes. Remember to allow for a cool-down period after the sterilizing cycle to avoid touching it while it's still hot.

    • @Philips
      @Philips  7 місяців тому

      As for the Avent bottles, disassemble the bottle, screw ring, AirFree vent insert (if applicable), and the nipple. Sterilize all parts following the instructions in the user manual of the sterilizer, making sure they don't touch each other to prevent deformation and damage. Be cautious not to sterilize nipples for too long to avoid weakening them. After sterilizing, wait for the parts to cool down before assembling. If you have any further queries or questions, please get back to us. We are here to assist you.

      Hello I bought philips avent breast pump and the feeding bottles. The caps/lids of the bottles have pores on it. So when i cover the bottles with the caps/lids, i cant be fully sure if the milk is safe from dirt. Also i keep the bottles in the fridge.

      Hello again, thanks for getting back to us. The bottle caps have small holes in them to reduce the risk of suffocation, in case a baby puts the cap on their mouth or nose. The small holes allow ventilation so that the baby can breathe naturally. The caps still offer significant protection from external particles and keep the teat clean and safe. We are committed to complying with the highest safety and quality standards in all our products. We hope this answers your question. Please feel free to reach out to us again if you need further assistance.

    How many sessions can this be used post 5 hours of charging?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  8 місяців тому

      Hello there. Thank you for your question regarding the Philips Avent electric breast pump. We would like to inform you that fully charging the battery takes up to 4 hours. Furthermore, once the battery indicator shows one steady light, you can use the breast pump for one session. When the battery indicator displays three steady lights, it indicates that the battery is fully charged. Hence, you can use this breast pump for three sessions after fully charging it. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us via social media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). You can also reach out to us via the contact page at to.philips/6052RYzJI.

      Hello there. Thank you for your question related to your Philips Electric breast pump. We would like to inform you that the Philips Avent single or double electric breast pump can only be used when plugged into a power outlet. Only these models (SCF398, SCF396, SCF394, and SCF392) can be used cordlessly. We hope we have answered your query. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare).

    Hi can we put it in the steam sterilizer after washing ?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  2 роки тому

      Hi, Rouweida. Thanks for reaching out. When it comes to our Avent products, you can sterilize all parts (except silicone tubes, caps, motor and adapter) in a Philips AVENT steam sterilizer or by boiling them for 5 minutes.
      Make sure to allow for a cool-down period after the sterilizing cycle has ended: the breast pump can be too hot to touch immediately after sterilizing.
      However, if you are using the electric breast pump, there is no need to sterilize the silicone tubes and caps as the milk is not in contact. You should not clean the motor unit and adapter in water but wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
      Hope this answers your question. If you still need assistance, we're here for you!

    Such a bad product, the pump was good but they don’t sell parts for this pump so once they are consumed you have to throw it all away. I used this for my first baby and then I had to buy Medela because they have parts for their pumps.
