Correction - this is the ONLY store-bought diaper that I find is worth anything, and I can't say it is consistently available on store shelves. Where I live there are a grand total of 3 stores which carry it. However, these diapers are unrivaled for daytime/active wear and unlike what OP said they ARE capable of taking a pretty big bowel hit too. They are even passable for overnight use if you slightly limit fluid intake toward bedtime. I think most importantly these are the most comfortable undergarment, let alone diaper, that I have ever worn. It is unsurprising then that these things often too the charts for "sensitive skin" metrics. Absorbancy is decent, good for 2-3 wettings from me(depending on volume), and their price is pretty much in line with other medical/generic products, so it is without question the best out of this group except MAYBE for Seni or Abena products.
This is probably the most ideal use for these diapers. While I have found that they can tolerate overnight use so long as you don't drink too much beforehand, they are by far the most ideal day diaper I have yet seen. Their absorbancy to me seems to be around 1/2 - 1/3 that of a Megamax, but they take half as long to change and when ordered in bulk are usually 1/3 the cost of a Megamax as well. You also get the advantage of wearing a dry diaper for a proportionally longer time as the shorter change interval would entail, but this interval isn't so short as to be annoying. In my experience it usually comes out to around 8 hours ish.
You worded that so very well. You hit on every point regarding this product. They are certainly very practical for many situations. I really do appreciate how you can remove the tabs without making a loud tape ripping sound. In that sense they are so very discreet. And once those premium Diapers get to about 2/3rds capacity I find that they irritate the skin in a major way. So as long as you're able to change, these are a fantastic product to bridge the gap from pullups to something like Megamax.
My name Bill Thompson I am a diaper lover I been wearing diapers for 40 years an full time for over 20 years I now wearing north shore maga max disp diapers I love them because they comes in different colors like white black an blue an pink an tie dye I used to work for Penske trucks rental in the body shop there every so often you went to the doctor for a check up my first time there I was wearing a Depends disposable diapers when it was my turn I went into the room the nurse gave me a pr of paper shorts to put on then the doctor came in then he asked me to lower my shorts before I did it I told him I was wearing a diaper then I lower my shorts an then he asked to lower my diaper he didn't siad anything I guess in his work he see a lot of people wearing diapers it was my first time going to the doctor wearing diapers I will wear diapers for the rest of my life
This diaper does not behave like most others when you are putting it on and wearing it. For best results it is important to figure out where on the diaper is the optimal tape attachment point for your body, and it is very helpful to wear something over them which can help hold them in place(for example plastic pants, a belt, or a pair of shorts/joggers with a tieable drawstring.

I have spent a ton of money tying to fijnd the right diaper - I find I like the ones with the plastic backing the best - for one reason they usually stay where you put them - lol The cloth back ones as you mention always seem to slide down sooner or later - even with something over them. I have found - hhope this might be helpful to you - incontinence knit pants - they are snug and help alot - sometimes I wear them over the tighty whites - they seem to run a little small so get the next size - check around for pricing - you can get them pretty cheap. Thanks so much for the advice. Durning the day i can get by with the pull-ups - but nighttime is a different story. 😂🤣😜❤
@@jeffrey9757 yeah surprisingly enough I use cloth backed where possible due to extremely sensitive skin. Of all of the diapers I've tried Prevail Air Overnight beats them all in this department at least by a significant margin. Even the #2(Megamax) still lags substantially. I'm glad you have found what works for me. Ironically in my case the issue is Neurogenic bladder and associated urge-overflow incontinence so nighttime is almost never an issue(and easily predictable) but during the day wettings are large and happen with very little warning. As a consequence there are very few diapers which are adequate for me...but this is one of them, and is my go to day diaper.
Just a quick heads up, all store bought diapers are more useless than a screen door on a submarine.

Does your doctor support you or is he like mine who thinks there are better "alternatives." Of course, none of them work, so diapers for me.
My urologist doctor just told me that I can take medication to help. That was pretty much his solution.
