The tram system in the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, operated by West Bengal Transport Corporation after Calcutta Tramways Company was dissolved, is the oldest existing tram network operating in India, and oldest operating tramway in Asia. Started in 1902, it is the second oldest electric tramway in India.

Tram metro aur city bus ka sasta aur badhiya vikalp hai...iss ka tracks road k side me aur safe ho to 40-50 kmps ki speed se chalti hai..aur city me ye speed theek hai..gadhkari ji ko iss pe dhyan de k sabhi city me avaleble karna chaahiye...taaki mahnge petrol aur polution se nijaat mile...aur ye metro se 1/4 costing me possible hai...
