Fantastic interpretation. Everything is played with great sensitivity, finesse and elegance; the musical structures are incredibly well balanced; all the notes flow in a so natural way. Listening to Maria playing, I can really sense the soul of Mozart and his genius close to her.
Beautiful, so elegant, clear and well-balanced. It always bothered me with other versions of this sonata, that other players take it too fast! So fast and hectic one can’t really understand anything, like if it was a technical exercise. This emotive version by Maria, on the contrary, is so vocal and organic: the ornaments are nice and natural, and one can follow perfectly well the nice musical speech without being rushed! Thanks for sharing this. From the 4 versions that I listened today, this is my favorite, and it’s certainly Mozart (not a rushed technique exercise like other “great ones” play it). Beautiful!
I agree, thank you. In Art, playing an instrument is not a physical, technical "performance", but expressive communication with a lot of meaning. The "technicality" serves no purpose, dies in itself ...
This sonata is one the best sonatas by mozart if not the best (in my opinion). Ever since I heard this interpretation I've fallen in love with the way she plays this sonata. Thank you very much for posting this.
Oh, I had 1.25x speed from a previous video (not music). I knew something was wrong at the 8:30 mark, my favourite part. Oh, she performed in my city 3 weeks ago and I didn't even know! I really should be making a long-term schedule of famous pianists who hardly visit the US.

A little slower than some but not as much as I thought. I compared it to a Gulda playing on UA-cam and it is only about 10 sec. slower.
I agree. So beautiful technic..
Yes! Yes! Totally I agree it!!!
