You missed important things! Not only tracks like Imola etc. are coming way later with a patch. They also didn't changed the track layout's like in real life for Spain, Australia, Abu Dahbi etc. thats a huge downside!
Hopefully that add the new track layouts in future updates. But I honestly think the new track layout designs were way too late for codemasters to add this late in development.

As my first F1 game, the game is almost unplayable with a standard PS4 controller. The cars feel like they have a 10 degree turning radius with a controller with the standard setup. This isn't my first driving sim, but this game is not meant for people who haven't played previous F1 games.

Sorry but I don’t respect anyone who uses a controller in the f1 games I’ve always use a wheel and I’ve tried to use a controller and it is so limiting to what you can do, finding the perfect racing line using a controller is almost impossible not to mention how little throttle and braking control you have (not nearly as bad as a keyboard but no where near as good as a wheel) I’m not saying you need and expensive wheel but using a controller in a f1 is a death sentence, good luck having any sort of pace.

The other option is nobody calling your character by their name throughout the entire story mode, unless you get all voice actors to do 100s if not 1000s of different names. This is definitely the lesser of two evils
