Getting Myles Garrett is also keeping him away from other teams. The Eagles getting him and pairing him with Carter would be bad for Wash.
Great show Mr Keim
Thanks JK!!! Appreciate you my friend
36 million in dead cap money?!? So the answer for now is there will be no movement til at least June 1st.
nah they're rebuilding anyway. not like they a FA destination anyway.
Garrett = yes. Kupp = no. My $.02....Thanks John!
You said “you do not get healthier as you get older”. That’s the concern about Lattimore. Cupp is not worth it. He is not the same player. I’ll be okay with the garret trade as long as it’s 1 first round pick.
If it’s a trade that’s similar to the Mack trade, it’s a no brainer.. if it’s 3 1st & or players, then no… idk why it would be more than the Mack trade when Mack was 2 years younger
How about Commanders take Garrett and DeShawn, Cle pays 1/2 of Deshawn's toll. Commanders send a first round pick
Bro did you forget we have Daniel’s?
It's kind of funny to hear a team say.. "we arent trading him. We are better with him." Lol! You aint gonna have him. Soft tissue issues tend to linger. Or... "we have 4 more years of jayden on a rookie deal." Lol.. we have TWO more years before he is worth 60 per and we have to pay him 60 per. Lol. There are talking points... and then there is real life.
Hard pass on Kupp. Not worth cap hit
they will probably eat a portion of that cap hit this year to get a deal done if the pick is a 5th rather than say a 7 or late swap. I believe he could be as low as 12.5 this year if the Rams are willing to eat a bit, so giving up a 5th plus 12.5 in cap this year and $19 mil next year could end up being worth it. just depends on how the team sees his drop off in performance and whether it was due to injury or just age
@matthewhale8958 also, can't stay on the field either
@@kevinhardy4028 I can see that point, but he has played 24 games over the past two seasons, so I would hesitate to say he can’t stay on the field. if anything, I think his problem might be that he tries to hard to rush back from injuries that most people believed were season ending. I’m not saying we should trade for him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we did, because the process does make sense for where we are right now.
Kupp is getting his contract reworked or else he will be released, point blank. So with that out of the way, he would be tradeable, and you know the Rams want something. He's only gonna be worth about what DeAndre Hopkins would go for, maybe a little bit more? 4th or a 5th and a reworked contract. He's not worth 29mil this year. That said he'd be a solid WR2.
2 first rounders + Lattimore
Okay how about this:
WAS Sends:
2025 1st Round Pick
WAS Receives:
Myles Garrett
Deshaun Watson
We have the cap space for the last 2 years of Watson’s contract, can put him straight on PUP list. We don’t have to sell the future, and use our advantage of cap space that other teams don’t have. You think Cleveland would go for it?
if we're taking deshaun watson we better be getting that 2nd overall pick. He won't even play and has a 90 million cap hit next year. Extremely restricts anyones chance of building even a competent team let alone a contender.
@ it’s 42 mil per year for 2025 and 2026
@@andrewcapon6794 not after they restructure his contract which they inevitably have to do
