Loved this series! Engineers are one of my favorite (and best) factions. I really enjoy swarmlings but never seem to do as well with them, a video series on them would be great. I play on snellman but I've heard that swarmlings are played a bit more on boardgamearena. I've never heard of or seen an engineer dwelling rush before, I always thought it was a bad idea but it's an interesting idea. It works well for most factions that can pull it off so maybe I will try it some time. The water cult strategy also seems pretty interesting.
Excellent tutorial, as always, thanks a lot! The only good thing about Corona is that it may make it easier for you to free up time for looking into Swarmlings.
Great video as always my fellow Quebecois ;) I know you're not the biggest fan of Nomad as a faction (neither am I), but because they're such a popular and versatile pick for auctions online, I'd love to know how to use them in a more practical manner. Regardless of what you choose, I'm sure that the videos will be interesting and informative :) Looking forward to the next iteration of the series!
@@zoras4016 Oh doi :p I could have sworn you mentioned that they weren't your best faction on stream, but it was my mistake assuming that you don't like the faction. Other than Auren (which I think we can agree are a hot mess) do you have any factions that you're really not a fan of playing? I find that Halflings and CM are kind of underpowered, especially if landscapes are on.
I have had some total disasters with Engineers and don't find them easy to play. On BGA I still haven't managed to play them as I am always convinced someone else will put Witches in, or Witches have already been chosen! In my face-to-face games Swarmlings often end up with Water 1 and Air 1 and can score consistently even if in isolation from everyone else. I look forward to a series on them. In a recent game my friend took Earth 1 first and scored really well with that. But my gut is to take the W1/A1 pair.
Sorry I was sure I replied to this comment... Not really tbh ; however, if you're interested in this kind of play, look for game from Shakaranov (something like that) in D1 where he plays engi against green factions!

A great conclusion to another great guide. Well done and thanks for taking the time and effort to share all you've learnt.
Thank you, I believe with your well laid out tutorials, there will be much more players getting better or even, getting into Terra Mystica!

Lol you're wrong about that I'm a big fan of nomads!

Have you ever taken F1 or A2 and felt like it was better than E2 in specific circumstances? Or even double econ?
