I was coming down Brandywine one morning in the snowcat (my second job at the time) and this guy was in my way while getting ready to go up on his new white ski-doo. I was thinking dude I’m too tired for this, then I noticed that it was Devun and I sat back down in the cat, take your time Devun, as far as I’m concerned I just groomed all night for you. And I had gone further than usual that night, covered so much ground. Made me smile, and he never knew this because I’m low key, didn’t want to be that guy that goes up to someone going hey man I’m so and so.

DW. King of Kings. Oh yes. I was gonna mention guests. ? Have you ever had Alex Chalmers on the show ? I put him up there in top tier fir not just Canada but globally. I ran into Alex the other day @ Burnside and he was driving back north. Trying to connect his ferry boat to Anderson Island. To catch last boat of weekend . We had a lot on common ( age, activity’s , early youth soccer exchange , Washington state/ BC province similarities. Was an epic journey into the past and at same time super refreshing to hear his moments. Very radical human being so I’d recommend if he’s up to it ! Thx
Alex is so sick. Loved his part in Flip Sorry. I feel there’s a little bit of imposter syndrome interviewing pro skaters, when I don’t have that world dialed. Just don’t wanna kook out and say some shit that doesn’t make any sense. At the same time there’s probably a lot of common ground and there would be a way to navigate the conversation that came off respectfully. Now you got me thinking?

I still ride a Forum Devun Walsh 157. The polkadots base where the top sheet looks like that one P DIDDY video. Great condition too, it's my fav stick in the quiver. Wasn't my fav Forum rider but his boards were always my fav. Hope he contributed to his designs and it wasn't Peter or someone else, haha. ❤❤

is that the 161?@@airtimepodcast I never waxed the board. Spray on only. Where I'm from, the powder didnt care about wax lol. The dimples are still present and unfilled. It's not dehydrated either. I can send pics if your're serious. My quiver is only 3 decks. I have a 152 Step Child Air Jordan SC deck but it was ridden by E-Man and is in terrible condition. Like really bad. Can tell he had a few freak outs and smashed the board into the rail... M3 157 deck with teh white top and blue base. Blaise ran it all the time, i Dm'd him and homie replied and was happy I took the time. Never was his offical pro board but he ran it all the time that season. Lemme know homie, hope all is well and happy new years. ♥

@@airtimepodcast this is going back to the early days of concert powder...here in northern ont. there was a ruined tennis court were the asphalt had lifted...it was called by the locals "butchers block" cause someone baited hard there. Anyhow the pics is of my buddy floating over BB which I think had a thrash can on top of. It's a sick pic.

@@airtimepodcast you have a lot of runway for growth man, so close to 1k subscribers and you can monetize. I’ve been searching around for history on snowboarding (besides reading p3 over and over) and the info is scattered because it seems no one thought to track and categorize it in the digital era. Your pod, bombhole, etc. are getting a lot of these stories for the record and will definitely be appreciated as genx and millennials want to pass down the culture of snowboarding.
I think Devun should just always have a video part in someones movie... just built in..back 5's, 180's and cool senders.
