Hi Claire. I want to tell you I have been following you and was deeply moved by your story and your experiences that I feel like giving you a hug. Besides the fact that you are a gorgeous woman but you also have the most generous personality I have ever seen. What you do is giving many people inspiration, me included. That's why after watching this video, it makes me feel what I feel. I have said the same thing somewhere else, and if it got you upset then I sincerely apologize. It looks like you got it wrong. I wish you have a blessed new year , I encourage you to continue vlogging, and if that's okay with you, I would like to pray for you that you get through your daily life without pain and whatever dreams you have, that they all come true.

@@LoveHardFightHard You're welcome. It looks like you probably had a not so great day, which is understandable. Like I said before, I will pray for you. So, you're a vegan, right? Do you think that veganism is one of the reasons why you look very slim and trim?

I just stumbled across your channel. I can relate in many ways. Even though I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair I choose to crawl and I'm also mostly bed-bound as well. Continue in the strength of God God bless you

I agree with all of your pet peeves. I hate when my family say they will pray for me to be healed. Or that God will make me better. My faith has declined through the pas 7 years. I can walk afew steps too. But it is broken bone pain. Since I was kicked in my bad knee. I can't stand or really walk anymore. Was on crutches an cane from 2013-2014-2015. My shoulders can't tolerate Crutches anymore. Recently got the drive chair u have. Today pretty much my only friend, got very mad at me for getting a chair. Telling me I've done well let 7 years managing. An the chair will only be my downfall. That I will loose all my muscles again. So on an so on. I love to be independent also. If the chair can minimize my broken bone pain, an help me be more independent that's what I will do. I told him if you are actually friends your there for the good and bad. Not just the good times. Glad I found your page. We are same age. We have different health issues but we have both gone through alot of the same things. Stay strong.

Matthew and Milagrosa hi there! Thanks for watching my video! If the wheelchair helps you then do what’s best for you. I agree true friends are there through the good AND bad times, and they should support you in whatever makes you happier and healthier. All my best wishes. Claire

Hello! I’m an older male. Bi lateral amputee, below the knees. Here’s an idea you may or may not want to try. I have a portable camode next to my bed. The legs are adjustable to match both the camode and bed to the same height. You don’t say how your upper body strength is,so, I’m assuming you are able to use your arm to help you slide to the camode. I also use the system to get into my wheelchair.
I don’t mean to offend, this idea came to me several years ago. Save your plastic shopping bags to line the bucket of the camode. In fact use three or four bags to insure no leakage of anything. This information is for anyone in a wheelchair

Hi, Great Video Clair!! I just came across your video as I was looking for wheelchair pep peeves to see if anyone else has delt with the same ones as I have. I have found that when people are talking down to us or to others about us, it is because we are either a lot younger then they are or they have noticed that we are wearing a diaper. Which is usually what happens in my case, they well start talking to my care giver or my brother once they see my diaper. So I usually turn into a jerk at that point and roll closer to them and ask if they are my friend in a childish voice, I wait for them to answer with a yes and then I reply with "I'm poopy". Now for the people who do the praying, I've only had that happen twice and both times were completely different outcomes as to what happened. I honestly believe that people going around doing that are either very sincere or they are complete nut jobs and need to be locked up in the hospital.
I hope your doing well and I really enjoyed your video...

Thanks for sharing all this! You know, sadly, folks have been assuming people get sick or disabled because they (or their parents) did something wrong since pretty much the beginning of time. Job's friends assumed it. And I'm sure you're also familiar with how Jesus' disciples thought the same in John 9, only to have Jesus correct them. We live in a broken world, broken bodies happen. The John 9 passage has been such an encouragement to me.
I remember my first week in seminary and I was talking with another student and mentioned my fibromyalgia (all I was dealing with at the time) and he commented to me that "real Christians don't get sick." Now, he was from another country, another language, another culture... but I was still so shocked that anyone, especially at seminary, would say that. I was shocked speechless. I didn't know how to respond. (I thought later of a few things I could have responded with-the John 9 passage for one or Paul's thorn or Timothy's stomach issues for others...)

MimeGirl thank you so much mentioning John 9. It’s a great reminder that people who are sick are not being punished, but rather being blessed in sort of a twisted way haha. God has kept me going and kept me on the Earth despite all odds so I owe him all the glory and praise 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Lots of love, fellow warrior 💜💖 Claire
