Did not know you could have brim trimmed down. That is really cool. Apart from being a brilliant working addition.... looks dam stylish as well. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙂
what a awesome hat I have 5 akubras atm great hats I love them, I might buy from Brisbane hatters the next time bcu I asked another hat company in australia if they could trim the brim but they refused to do that (not gonna mention the company name) but its a well known hat company
I also tried to get my first Akubra trimmed (Leisure Time) but the hat company I got it from would not trim it either, possibly the same company as you have used. Their service was good but they did not customize.
@@southernlandsolo7839 I did meet a younger female - but I don't remember if it was Tess - could have well been. All i know it did have great customer service she was very helpful. Got the Banjo Patterson akubra.
Some businesses will trim. I went with Brisbane Hatters because they offer that service. The felt holds together after trimming and does not come apart. There was no cost on the trimming. Thanks for watching.
@@southernlandsolo7839 yea I checked out there range , and I’ve got to say I was impressed with how many different variety’s of Akubras they have in stock . Thanks for sharing Bro !
Not sure why they sent you the piece of the brim they trimmed off. Was there some allegation at some point that they were selling brim trimmings on the black market? It's such a goofy thing to include. It's not as though you might change your mind and decide to glue it back onto the hat.

Thanks Kat. Brisbane Hatters did a great job.
Oh Man,
That's one great looking hat!
Including the inserts, also shows great care for the customer.
Thanks for the detailed review.
Thanks Kevin. I have taken a liking to this brand and the supplier. Will do a future vid on my chosen bush hat, the Akubra Riverina.

Another great addition to the outdoor apparel.
Definitely. I am wrapped with how well they hold up in the outdoors
Very nice. IMO, the Tablelands is the best looking Akubra hat.
Thanks for the feedback bro. I bought it for the Sorrel Tan colour. It is one of the few Akubra's that come in that colour.
I would dispute that statement. I think that the Coober Pedy is nicer. It is lined and has a better, kangaroo leather band
What hat are you wearing during your unboxing
I'm wearing an Akubra Riverina with a trimmed brim. One of my last videos is on this hat. Thanks for watching and commenting
What?!? You didn’t try it on! That’s the first thing I would have done, looks great
lol, good spotting lol
Hilarious, i was only in Brisbane Hatters last week - small world!
lol. Great shop. Did you meet Tess?

Hey mate. Apologies if you mentioned it and I missed but what’s the name of the hat that you are wearing during the unboxing?
That's my modified Akubra Riverina. Thanks for watching bro. ua-cam.com/video/e8T4qX079tc/v-deo.html

Nice hat Dave!
Thanks Zeb.
Hey Dave, what part of the states do you orginate from?
Hi Jeff. I am originally from Bermuda. It is very close to the USA so the our accents can sound similar.
