  • Hoz reacts to the hit piece article written by Ken Rosenthal on Manny Machado. He also breaks down another epic game between the Padres and Dodgers, where Fernando Tatis continues to shine. At Citi Field, the Mets came through with a huge victory over the Phillies, powered by Sean Manaea's gutsy start that he made with a heavy heart.

And don’t come at me with the “it was legal” bs bc it wasn’t you can’t intentionally interfere w a thrown ball and even Jeter, big papi, and A Rod all said it was TEXTBOOK interference. Sorry man 🤷🏻‍♂️

Manny is a classic case of you love him when he's on your team and you detest him when he's not. For sure HOF but it doesn't mean you can erase anything in your history. The same padre fans who cheer for him now were the same ones calling him a dickhead for kicking Aguilar in the playoffs. They were piling on like no tomorrow 😂. But in the end he's a guy every team would want on their side. Nothing wrong with being a superstar with a side of dickhead. Dude prepares like no one else on that team and loves the game. Baseball IQ through the roof. But yeah, some of those situations won't be forgotten easily regardless of his personal growth people speak of.

This podcast just happened to come up on my feed. I'm 2:50 in and I'm so happy there's no hard feelings between you and San Diego/Padres. Things didn't seem to end well but I'm also not super plugged in to the storylines. But I don't think you (Eric Hosmer) get enough credit for being the start to the entire trajectory the Padres are on right now. You are the signing and the player to have gotten all this excitement going in the first place. I was bummed when we found out you were no longer on the team and unfortunately never would help get us to the series. But man, San Diego owes you a great amount of respect and gratitude for being the catalyst to this moment right now. Thanks Hosmer!

Its easy to have an electric enviorment filled with Padre's fans at Petco, when they absolutely disallow ticket sales for the five major counties that encompass the L.A metro area...To me, it is a major travesty, and Bush league in every sense, for an organization not to allow fans from outside of San Diego County to purchase tickets during the postseason...
How does MLB allow that?? Los Angeles Dodgers certainly don't disallow postseason purchases from the other team. That's our rights as Baseball fans to go to any Ballpark and enjoy a game. It's one of those ridiculous practices that is not only underhanded, it's been swept under the rug and MLB is doing nothing about it....Sadly today when 98% of tickets are purchased via credit card, your zip code is attached to that, so they automatically will not let you purchase tickets if you do not have a San Diego County zip code...A joke!!

Has Rosenthal ever been to a baseball game? Between innings, the infielders toss the ball around while the pitcher takes his warmup tosses. When they're through and the pitcher is ready, the third baseman tosses the ball over towards the dugout, and the ball boy/ball girl picks it up and puts it away. When Machado chucked the ball over, it hit the tiny concrete lip at the bottom of the fencing in front of the dugout, and the ball took a freakish hop over the fence. BFD.

Yes, Manny Machado is a cheater and you guys arel justifying his interference, but God forbid the Dodgers do the same. You guys are lame.

4:30 Exactly what I said... If Manny had any intent to hit anyone in the Dodger dugout, we would have seen the ball hit it's intended target... No way in hell that they are not aware of Manny having one of if not the best arm of anyone that has defended the hot corner in MLB for what, at least the last decade now... If he throws at you, instead of having something to complain to complain to MLB about that makes you look like a soft AF 🐈 with hurt feelings, you will physically be hurting from Manny having nailed you, prompting a likely suspension from MLB for Manny... Instead of crying, play better...
Padres will keep son'n the Dodgers, ending their season at Petco in front of the best homecrowd in all of baseball with a game 4 win... Love the fuck out of this team and believe this is the year San Diego finally becomes a World Series Champion and giving legacy to the vision of the late Peter Seidler... He invested not only monetarily but love for the game, the Padres ballclub along with all it's fans (new and old), and the whole city of San Diego... It's destiny by design
    Let's Fucking Gooooo🎉
