Do you still have the expansion board for the Uniden 980? I can't find them anywhere except for a few people wanting to rip people off for old units. I have 980 with a bad LCD and would love to get it running with expansion.
It's GPL.. so yeah. I just need to put it on github. if you drop me an email i can send you a link when I get that sorted. It's built in the msys environment on Windows. The thing that I want to try to tackle at some point is the actual resizing part. it's all hardcoded sizing and in GTK4 they took a lot of that window position functionality out to leave it to the window manager.
@@Mark19960 Thanks Mark, That would be great. I have had some experience with the resizing issue on a Pi build of this. I did find a fork that allowed dynamic resizing at one point. But I am going a back a year or two now...
I'm impressed Mark! Very nicely done. I shared this video with Homer since he has a Hermes as well.
excellent work really impressive. The Hermes is an mamazing radio and very under estimated by a lot of people.

Very Nice!
Long time HL2 user here. Nice work! Would you share your modified software? (PiHPSDR)? I had not seen a Windows fork before either. Very cool stuff.
