The best profound articulation of the dark Muslim from a character in Western society, today. 🪔 Considering the DEPTH and discretion and intelligence of his speech, the type of "secular" 😡 messages I read, mocking,🥳 or also advising him, are shocking. 😶
Isn't it true that his genitals were cut off? No comment. 😶. I and many men and women also do not understand the word that attempts to carry guilt for the reason of being male, calling 😡 it "toxic masculinity", it came from the mouths of women with resentment and because of their character they cannot differentiate a melon 🍈 from a tablecloth 🛋️, for example. A disgusting man 🤮 from a friendly 🙂 man. NARCISSISTS social contagion, you must hear the hate in every sentence.

This is wonderful how God is working in the minds of former atheists. They start to see the historical, cultural, moral superiority of Christianity (even in spite of the many historical tragic wrongs like crusades, slavery, etc. However this kind of conversion doesn’t stand on the real firm foundation that Jesus Christ died and resurrected for my own personal sins for which I deserve eternal separation from the holy God. This recognition is supernatural, that’s why I believe in the holy Trinity, the Father has all the power to decide my fate, Jesus Christ, the compassionate heart of God loved me to save me, and the Holy Spirit supernaturally convicted me and convinced me to desire God, Heaven, salvation. I bow down, I worship, I never want to lose Him, my mind, my emotions, my soul,my heart, my body is involved in my conversion and in my following Christ. I am old and simple, but I say lovingly to Hirsi Ali, get closer and closer to Jesus. It is worth it!! Superior yes, wonderful yes, and the only way, truth, and life!! May the Lord guide you.

I'm at the 26th minute of this video and it's so interesting because the dynamic that you're describing with regards to reasoning, compromising, and meeting somebody halfway, is almost identical with the dynamic of a psychologically healthy person trying to reason with a narcissist. Many times people who find themselves in relationship with a narcissist discover that the normal and reasonable methods of problem solving do not work with narcissists because they have no intention to compromise. Their desire is to overtly or covertly get their way only. In the psychological paradigm, as I understand it, the individual who is struggling with the narcissist has to separate themselves from the narcissist and not compromise because they realize that they are dealing with what is essentially a criminal mind. I'm not saying that the parallel is exactly the same. I'm still only learning the points that the speaker is making and I am new to the topic. But as an individual who has gone through a long process of psychological counseling, as I extracted myself from a narcissistic individual, I couldn't help but point out the similarities. One thing that I learned in this process is that you have to interact differently according to the consciousness of the person you're facing. There are the most lovely people to interact with who enjoy compromise and who enjoy listening to different points of views. There are others who seek to undermine as they listen. Sadly we have to take different approaches in order to protect ourselves. Not everybody will come to a peaceful solution if only we can explain ourselves and our thinking well enough. Many loving and empathetic individuals are used and taken advantage of in this way and it makes this personality type quite confused until they finally understand this concept. I look forward to listening to the rest of her lecture and reading the literature that she has published. Thank you. I would also like to say that I am not a psychology professional.

She said some very thought-provoking things that I hadn't heard her say in any of the other YT vids I've watched with her speaking or in interviews! This was pretty dense & worth listening to a second time & taking notes for further thought. I only heard one thing with which I take issue and that might be based on a different understand of ESG. I think wokeism is bullshit; I don't think corporations being responsible for not destroying our life support system (the "environment" is an overused term that causes people to roll their eyes) of clean air, clean water, healthy oceans, and a world full of wildlife, forests, and diverse & complex ecosystems that took 100s of millions of years to evolve is bullshit, & I don't think it's bullshit to avoid child slave labor in your supply chain. Yes, the only responsibility of a corporation is to make a profit for their shareholders, but if that means those corporations externalize their expenses & make everyone else pay for them, that shouldn't be tolerated. WE made the rules on corporate responsibility. It didn't come down from God as some kind of divine fiat. We can rewrite corporate law & corporate charters to require certain things that protect EVERYONE & those who are truly vulnerable (like children, nature, & poor people in Appalachia & on Indian Reservations & abroad), not just those who claim they are victims (privileged, educated, affluent blacks & other minorities who only fight for themselves & their ideologies) & talk about how they are the most oppressed people who have ever been oppressed, even while all of society bends over backwards to cater to them. There's a huge difference between real justice & real responsibility toward others vs. the DEI bullshit & greenwashing that occurs today as corporations virtue signal for praise & profit.
Elon Musk was right in criticizing people who care more about appearing to do good than actually doing good. This is my critique with the Left today in western cultures. It's why I'm politically homeless. They've abandoned the hard work of justice & progress in favor of cosmetic changes, battles focusing on minutiae rather than dealing with more difficult & serious issues, virtue signaling, & destroying those who don't agree with their ideology. This runs through all the woke causes. I mean what is transgender ideology among the young other than a social contagion based on regressive gender stereotypes that uses cosmetic surgery to create a virtual reality that promises to be a panacea for all the problems of adolescence, including undiagnosed mental illnesses, social awkwardness, being autistic or lesbian or gay, wanting to be trendy, or just not liking themselves & their bodies, encouraged by the adults around them who want to virtue signal how accepting they are?
They woke have taken over non-profit organizations & NGOs, the media outlets that used to be trustworthy, academia, and other institutions & now use them to undermine the very purpose for which those institutions were created & to undo the very progress those organizations once fought to achieve. And "progressives", like myopic bobble-heads, put these issues front & center! All the while, the middle class in the U.S. is shrinking, people around the world are suffering under ACTUAL oppression, animals are suffering because of the lack of empathy, greed, outright cruelty, & apathy of humans, species are going extinct, & ecosystems are collapsing, and there are only a handful of good people putting effort into changing those conditions.
We live in a world where "Likes" are what is important. Life is ENTIRELY virtual, fake, cosmetic, & superficial approval seeking. It's easier to have the appearance of goodness than to actually do good.

Since 2004 my country Slovenia has been a member of the EU. Then being in my fifties I felt overwhelming joy that my dreams came true: since a young boy I have seen enlightment as top human achievement and the only world I want to live in. I was lucky to get full education in economics bringing me tons of arguments why this is the path we should cherish, follow and develop. The united wokeists should simply travel more in the hope that they grow over the level where they can no more can count on and extort the mother support that western institutions that they hold for granted are offering them.

I was interested in the wide applause (as well as the non-applause) at ~28;30 with her comment about woke being, "an ideology born out of the Romantic desire to become primitive"
I suspect many of those applauding did so without a clue what she meant by the comment. She elaborated further about the Primal Scream, but surely many wouldn't have known.
And to those not applauding, did they not applaud merely because they didn't know what she meant by a "desire to become primitive," or were they not willing to brook any critique of "woke"?
    I don't know. I just wonder.

Woke is usually the term used to describe phony social justice i.e someone redefining the word racist to such a broad extent that it encompasses anything and everything - giving the person a false sense of righteous indignation and identity around defending so called marginalized groups. “Institutional racism” is usually a woke buzzword - it’s never defined specifically which policies are racist, nor what anyone can do about them and is thus a meaningless term.

This conversation misses the point. America was founded at it's most basic level on the ideal that a free people must be good moral citizens first. Then good civil citizenship will follow. Without the common moral code we started with, ie...the goldenrule of doing unto others as you want done unti you, which is at the core of the judeo-christian code of conduct: Ten Commandments, this place we have called America can't function. As Jesus said, a house divided cannot stand. In this is the dilemma of our society today. Try and seperate that moral code of our founding and civil unrest follows. You can't have the civil society without the moral society. We must get back to the guiding principles that led to our great nation. It's in the song: God Bless America.

I'm not sure that Ayaan'a appeal to Clinton's mindless mantra "Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare." was very informed or cognizant of its implied errors. Rare? Why would one say that it should be rare. But possibly Ayaan was just a bit more honest, but nevertheless unaware of it's implications. Rare would be the sensible accepted incidence of a horrendous act. But, of course, if it is a horrendous act, why should it be allowed at all or at least without very prescribed qualifications.
    From the Atlantic,
Now, after a quarter century of mighty service, of what President Barack Obama would have called “coalition building,” the phrase is being vigorously expunged from the pro-abortion-rights conversation, including from the plank of the Democratic Party (in 2012) and the official position of Planned Parenthood. Representative Tulsi Gabbard discovered this change of heart in the October debate, when she evoked Clinton’s famous phrase and was pilloried for it. Young feminists living in the age of dwindling access to abortion aren’t interested in a mantra that implies there is something shameful about the procedure, even if it has kept many people in the pro-choice tent. In the present state of American politics, compromise-even the rhetoric of compromise-is understood as appeasement, and we seem to have decided that it is better to risk losing everything than to give an inch."

But such a line makes people feel good, and even though the speaker says that she does not even know what woke is!

I respect Ayana, and much of what she speaks about, but to say that you researched and could not determine what “woke” is, to then say it’s equivalent to a “serial killer” just makes her sound like a mouth peice for the right.

This was not a well-organized nor particularly informative or inspiring talk. Is Ayan under the influence of drugs here? Why are her thoughts so disjointed? Why did she soundly condemn "wokeness", and then in the next breath claim she doesn't understand what it is at all, and then say she agrees with some of it? Why did she not answer one of the questions posed to her by the audience, but instead rambled about completely unrelated things? How is it that she was not able to name one figure or work of the enlightenment period she especially admires? She seemed at several junctures about to make a point, only to trail off on a tangent. I was embarrassed for her just listening to this. This wouldn't garner better than a C in a sophomore speech class. The Empress has no clothes, it's plain enough to see.

Drugs? ?? 😂😂😆🤣what drugs? ☕ A journalist also asked Hugh Laurie if he took sedatives or drugs to play Dr House...😂 (you should look up his answer on the Internet) it's worth it.

@@OpenHLZFocus My question wasn't an accusation. Just looking for explanations for such a rambling, uneven, often tangential monologue. Her answers to audience members at the end were so detached from their questions it was almost shocking. I found it almost painful to watch. For someone such as herself, associated with reason and rationality, this felt more like performance art; if I had made the effort to attend this talk, I would have been distinctly disappointed. Those gushing about how great it was see the emperor's clothes much more vividly than myself.

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I have just attempted to say exactly this in response to someone’s comment above so I thank you🙏🏽
I listened to this purposefully as I recently came across her in an old debate about Islam being a religion for peace, or not, and I couldn’t grasp her reasoning. I’m not a Muslim but still, I heard zero facts or actual references to back up her argument. But THIS, absolutely blew my mind. Who has allowed her this space? She’s apparently written books😱
I genuinely do not believe a word she says!
