I bought three of these. They are perfect for my 6.5 in wrist. I have Four Omega watches and these don't compare BUT they wear great, look sharp and you don't worry about knocking them about!
Just wear your Omegas and knock them about !
@j.harbottle8928 it hurts my soul. Lol
@ For sure, mate, I have a SMP300 Chrono, so pretty bombproof thankfully !
🙌🏼🙏
Great review by pure coincidence I ordered the green version this morning before I saw your review. This will be my first Watchdive looking forward to receiving it.😊😊
I ponyed up a few more shekels for the San Martin with colour matched date wheel, the best aqua terra homage out there. This looks like a good alternative if you want the look
and quartz utility.
The San Martin sn0113w v2 has disappeared. Can't find it anywhere. There is just 1 color left that I don't want, So I am thinking the might be coming out with a v 3 or discontinuing.
Nice! It looks great with the new logo. I may just have to pick one up. Thanks for the review!
Added to cart. Thanks for the video. 👍
Looks really great, still hesitating between the white and the green. A bit afraid of the lack of AR making the green illegible
I have one (silver dial / black hands) and in general it is a good watch. However you really need to break off the ‘quick release’ screws on the back as they protrude too much and dig into your wrist. Furthermore the inside of the bracelet has sharp edges which you’ll have to sandpaper down a bit. After that it is a smooth and accurate watch.
I've got the SM blue dial 6 o'clock white date homage.
These two watches look very similar, but the legibility on the SM is better, in my opinion. The on the fly adjustment, screw link bracelet, and 6 o'clock date window are worth, to me, the higher price.
Great review as usual 👏
Great VFM if you like direct homages. Hate the branding, but the logo is good. So much better than the crap you would buy in Argos etc
i like quartz movement, less hassle in the long run, if break just replace it cz it's cheap
Yes but mechanical movement NH38 is also very cheap to replace.
Automatic movements are easy to replace and you can keep the watch. Quartz is for lazy people, only quartz watch anyone would need is a Casio. These watches should be auto.
@@jrbj2000 Quartz is thinner, more accurate, less prone to shock or vibration, easier to maintain, and cheaper to replace.
Yet, you can't name a weakness of quartz and then call it a watch for lazy people to make it seem inferior to automatic. that statement only exist in your head, no one ever called people lazy just for wearing quartz watch.
The irony of watch snobs.
@@odouroushouseant vh31 is $10 and nh38 is $30, still quartz 3x more cheaper.
@doniherald7745 $20 difference over a 10-15 year service life isn't an issue. I like VH31 a lot. I want a date version too, why don't they make it?
Really nice watch. I think it's really nice for the price point!
Not an aqua terra fan but this looks the biz.
Thanks 😊
Good looking grab and go gada at a good price 👌
I would need a date. I have the Aqua Terra blue dial, I picked up in 2023 for $6200. One thing I hate about my omega is the butterfly clasp. I will never buy a watch without a Tfit glide lock on the fly adjustment. I then picked up the Rolex Submariner and it hit all the bells and whistles. Lol. Micro brands have started out Tfit and I have bought some.
Terrific option to “test drive” the real deal!
I did that with a Pagani Submariner homage. And I grew out of love with the design so I went to a dealer to try the real thing. Loved the bracelet but the watch still underwhelmed me. A lot of money saved!!
A good all-rounder
Love everything about this watch except the minute hand. I would much prefer a minute hand that matched the design of the hour hand, with lume on the main body of the hand and not just the tip. This would also help to improve the legibility. Other than that, this is a great little watch for the price. Watchdives is improving faster than probably any other brand, producing watches that are really good quality and Impressive value for money.
Despite everyone describing a 3 handed sports with no rotating bezel a Go Anywhere Do Anything watch I have to disagree - if I am travelling to different time zones this kind of watch would mean constantly stopping and restarting the watch, whereas add a true GMT movement and it really is a GADA watch. Good looking watch though 👍
Not bad at all 😃
Waiting for your review of the wd007 in 39mm version. Fingers crossed
Looks great, but I would prefer to pay a bit more to get an applied logo and an on the fly clasp.
great review pls review Ptoxima watches in the near future
This or the Pegani version? It's cheaper with the date and auto and larger (which I need). Thoughts?
I got the white silverish dial....all good except for the bracelet...it is not good but I am OK with that
Wished the watch was automatic. I’d never pay over $30 for a quartz.
It’s a beautiful watch though.
7:57 would love to know the focal length you used for this shot.
Curious what the camera and lens is in the bacground. I have an Olympus OM-G and 4 lenses.
is this one on your video the vintage green or dark blue?
@fernangallegos9560 The one in the video is the 'Dark Blue'.
@@ShinyThings great. thanks
The advantage of being quartz! 😂😂😂
@jontpt Hopefully 🤞 this will not spawn Quartz crisis 2.0 😮😂
@ShinyThings Omega and Rolex are already gearing up! 😂
Come on addiesdive make something like this with date windows
I would love to own a good quality Aqua Terra homage with polished center links like the real thing, unfortunately no one seems to want to do that. San Martin and Watchdives just want to cater to the boring watch geeks now.
Meca quartz is smother than ordinary quartz, but it is not 'smooth'.
Agree, more like a vintage lower beat mechanical. It does have charm though I feel. You either like it or not.
Nice looking homage however for $100 + it’s using a VH31 that most sub $50 watches are installing. At least a mechanical movement would be nice 🍻 cheers
it would be much *much* better with a date at 6
@JohnMcKelvie Definitely 😊👍
SM has the best version
@zillsburyy1 But SM has the Date! 😮🙂
Sherlock holmes ovaaaaa heere ( sopranos reference :) )
@@ShinyThings agree, no date better!
WD is better, SM swapped hour and minute hands looks weird
No way. SM is too thick!
To be honest... no.
Stopped watching when quartz was mentioned, shame really as it's not a bad looking watch
I love quartz 😂
The disappearing hands would be the deal breaker for me. 🤔🧐🫤
