Without a single word, your review seems to be the most accurate of them all. A number of reviewers were frustrated with the lack of instructions (shame on Killerbody) and the difficulty of the build (shame on them), and allowed their frustration to result in a poor review. When built properly, and viewed as a scale-accurate chassis, the Mercury seems quite good. Yes, it could be improved. Experienced builders will find and suggest improvements that Killerbody may not have found on their own. It is a kit for scale purists who accept some quirks.
The rhythmic noise from the drivetrain suggest an out-of-round spur gear. if that were fixed, the noise would be much less.

How much do the jeep gladiator rc 1/10 run for
Body and interior kit about $380 from Amain Hobbies, Traxxas TRX4 chassis kit from local shop $399. Misc, another 100.00 and still have to select battery and charge, carry case etc.

Looks lovely, but based on reviews I have seen this is more of a shelf queen that happens to be an RC car, rather then a care to be run on a track regularly. Already the lack of oil dampers tells a lot.
It's clearly not a hard-core crawler/basher, just look at the attention to realism with suspension, I agree it could do with oil dampers but the scale look would be compromised, if scale more realistic off roading is your thing then this chassis is ideal
@@nickholmes6376 I think that is exactly how to see this chassis. Nothing wrong with that, just most UA-camrs try to present it is ‘ another scale crawler’ ( save for Scaler’s builder guilt - he made a super honest review) - what may mislead the expectations. It does look very nice, no question about that.
In this segment, it will satisfy those who love the beauty of the body and the authenticity of the chassis structure. As for off-road capabilities, it cannot... It still runs well in an ideal environment, but you should avoid muddy and rocky terrain. Thank you for expressing your opinion! Wish you happy weekend!

It's not RTR dear friend! You need to build it, and it's not a simple job. Hope to overcome this difficulty.
Sorry to say but this chassis is not that good. Very cheap feeling, and no metal all plastic. means its VERY light and doesnt let the shocks act the way they should. The body though is amazing and detail is on point..Also your build was done very well sir! I just wish they put more into the chassis. The very minimum should have been metal axles.
