Geran 2 is a Russian version of the Shahed 136 drone.

Those iranian shaheds cost a max 25K$ each, the cost of intercepting one with lets say for e.g a singer missile is 1.2 million dollars for each drone, its literally not worth intercepting, so the drones are a win-win. If they hit target, well then they did their job, If they're intercepted then they just traded 25K loss for 1.2Mil win.

In total, the Iranians earned $1.8 billion from the supply of drones to the Russian Federation.

Lot less than $25K, when you take Russian/Iranian salaries into account. Western product cost more as salaries, raw material, logistics & cost of living is expensive.
You know what the most funny thing about ukranians? Is that they all switch to Russian language when they're on emotions. And that's because Russian is the native language for the most of them in reality
