This video demonstrates how to release tension in your horse's neck and poll region by applying strategic pressure to an area of intersecting muscles and fascia. This is a really good technique for horses who are ear or poll shy and resent pressure in those regions.

This is really helpful. Thank you. My horse has always reacted to massage in this area but I never knew why

Thank you for this very understandable instruction video. I have used this on a horse down the road that is not well looked after by its owner. The horse was extending its neck twisting it sideways and lowering its head towards me. I applied the gentle pressure to that spot finding the horse lowering it's head straightforward and closing its eyes the same as I saw in the video. Checked horse again this afternoon and found it recovered and neck muscles relaxed. Really appreciate the guidance. She's 31 year's old

I've got to get working on my boys neck. He's obviously sore (tight) on his neck. He has that rounded egg on his neck too. I've had the vet and chiro out but they didn't find anything wrong. The chiro doc was saying most hind and back problems come from the neck area. I'm going to start massaging his neck and buy a book on pressure points. Thank you for the video.

I’m assuming this is bilateral and was shown opposite the mane side for visual purposes? Definitely goin to try this on my mare. ❤

Can you do a video on how to tell if your horse is just tight in the back end or sore because I have a gelding and he’s a Tennessee walking horse and I’ve had him on barrels for a while now and he seems tight/sore in the back end and I can tell which one he is and I’ve stretched him and put stuff on him to see if it would help and I don’t know if it’s just he’s breed or just him and I really need help. And his neck has been stiff to so I’ll try this and hopefully it will help!

I just got a new horse about 3 weeks ago and I have noticed that when he is eating his grain if he bows his head into the feeder and tilts his nose left or right this weird Knott comes up right above the spot you were showing ..like a verabra and when he moves it straight again it makes a weird pop like popping back over a joint. And he doesn't turn his neck real sharp on either side. How do I help? There is no equine poppers in my area

Probably just a coincidence, but after applying the magic button to my mare she has made friends with my neighbors' mare whom she avoided previously. Weird?
