I worked all day in the factory. When Kelly said she’s making dinner tonight I was genuinely excited as if I was going to eat that good meal tonight too.
Watching on a big screen, the sparkles in Cody’s beard in the dark look like tiny twinkling stars; the trees reflecting on the water like a beautiful oil painting; Kelly putting as much love and pride in her housekeeping and cooking as if she’s in the grandest of homes. Oh look, she is, the great outdoors. Thank you! ⭐️
We lived in a tent for 2 summers in Alaska with teenagers. It was the best years of our lives and the teens agree😀 . We camped on 5 acres of raw land, so we only packed up in winter. We now live in a tiny dry cabin in Alaska. You two are living the life, it is awesome. So many wish they could but for some reason feel they can’t. Good to see you doing it.
We have the peepers here in Wisconsin, but they dont start chirping until May. Right now they're under the frozen water. We have 20-30 degree weather still & snow on the ground. Looks so nice & warm there where you are. The tortilla casserole looked yummy. Take care & stay safe.
What a beautiful place! The Mangrove trees, those are one of my favorite trees. You guys are living my dream life. Best wishes for peaceful happy travels.
Love to hear the sounds of the spring peepers! We have them at our cabin at the lake there. A sure sign of spring coming! Love to watch Kelly and her cooking recipes. Those tortillas looked really good! I will be tuning in for the next log to the fun you’ll be having! ❤️⛺️

And I thought my family was the only ones that put peanut butter on waffles and pancakes!! There are more of us than I thought!! Glad to see you have bounced back from what happened in the last year. I just now subscribed so I can catch up on your past episodes. The last episode I caught is after the theft of your trailer and the rebuild of it.
@@ShawniaMarie we are normal! I think it shows our families endured hardships and meat wasn’t easily available for them. My dad’s family bought peanut butter for the protein because they couldn’t afford meat.
This makes me just LOVE BEING AN AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE WHATS AT STAKE IF WE LOOSE THIS GREAT COUNTRY NO MATTER YOUR COLOR BABY ITS ONLY ONE USA 🇺🇸 THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SERVED AND DIED FOR HER GOD BLESS US ALL!....
I stayed there a couple of nights in 2018. Interesting nearby city of Oil City. Aptly named. Little oil wells everywhere. In front yards, back yards, vacant lots.
Caddo Lake is a beautiful place. I was camping there last year in the winter and got tornado and storm warning. My little camper was almost floating on the water next morning. Looks like you got good weather. Have fun!
I really like your camping spot! I have a trailer (too old and crickety to sleep in a tent) and that looks like a great place to park my camper. Love that kind of lake a LOT! Love the little froggies too. Thanks for another great video and anxious for Thursday episode now.
Yay! Shoutout to Guadalupe State Park. We live 10 mins away and it’s our favorite place. I’m glad you liked the showers because it felt like they spent 5 years building those bathrooms 😄. It’s nice not having those portapottys anymore.
I was born and raised in Fort Smith and then Van/Alma. My grandpa was a twin that came from the Buffalo up around Shiloh and Boxley. I spent most my time in the mulberry and Ozarks. I've been watching camp/bushcraft on youtube for years and I love that yall are in places I know and feel. From one arkie to another, Woo Pig! 🐖
I thought they were cicadas! I was just introduced to your channel by another subscriber. I'm retired and have been encouraged to continue using my mini trailer for storage and keep living in my tents, which I prefer!
🏞️ I grew up tent ⛺ camping in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado since 1971!!❤️ The worst part for me was set up and tear down!!🙈 I now live in a 1984 Itasca Winnebago class A motorhome on the Coast of Oregon!! 🌴 #davesandersstepdaughter
That Mexican pizza looked amazing! Also wanted to share that the sound of the spring peepers is one of my favorites! One of the campgrounds we go to in Northern KY (A.J. Jolley Campground in Alexandria, KY) surrounds A.J. Jolley Lake and there are a TON of peepers there in the spring. One of my favorite things in the world is listening to them while sitting around a campfire. Thank you for bringing me some springtime joy on this cold March evening here in Kentucky. Happy camping yall!!!
We were just there the last weekend of February. I go with my son's scout troop. We usually go from the state park to goat Island and stay over night on the island. It's in the WMA and it cost a little more to go, but it's well worth it.
You two are so organized! We are headed to Jasper Arkansas to close on our mountain property soon, we hope. Just hiked Big Bend national park a couple of weeks ago. Catching so many spring bass down here I barely have time to get out in the woods!
Lots of peepers going strong in the creek behind our house. Been chirping since mid February in Searcy, Arkansas! Can’t wait to see what y’all got up to on the water!
Wow great video really nice campsite we just got back from camping at Enchanted Rock near Fredericksburg Texas our tent that we recently got is a 6-person easyrise tent from Academy it's a Magellan brand it's really awesome fit 6 people then somebody at one of the campsite said that they had a 12-person tent and I could not even believe that it was huge we had a really awesome experience we saw Black Rock squirrels Birds lizards all kinds of cool stuff we're definitely going back as soon as we can and we are in the process of trying to purchase a nobo trailer also👍👍
Cody, if you love Cypress trees, you will really love Magnolia Ridge campground on Steinhagen lake in Texas, just south of the Rayburn reservoir you were at. It’s near Woodville, Tx, and has four camping areas, each about a mile apart. We rode bikes there, and there were only four campers in the entire park! The entire lake has nothing but Cypress trees.
I have a small van/suv cargo type vehichle that I use for camping. I'm thinking about buying a good tent to use in the summer time at campgrounds because with a tent you can unzip the windows and have much better air circulation even though I have fans in my van. And it would just give me another alternative. I would have more room in a big tent.
Caddo is such a cool lake, I think it's one of the only natural lakes in Texas and you have to see this place in the spring/summer. So spooky at night with the spanish moss and all the animal sounds there. The lake itself is amazing too and recommend you having GPS on you any time you get in the water as it's very easy to get disoriented and lost on this lake.
We caught a peeper last weekend at Lake D'Arbonne State Park, (just south of Arkansas state line in Louisiana) Which I highly recommend the Park, and site 16 if you're ever passing through the area...looked like some great mountain biking and kayaking! (also, 5g full bars on Verizon and Att both)
We have tons of little Cyprus lakes down here around El Dorado AR. They always remind me of Jurassic Park! Especially when an alligator or water moccasin slithers by the boat.
I prefer sleeping in a tent . It's just more relaxing .I have learned that Instant tents are the bomb and for me I have 6 person tent . I have learned to keep my food in vehicle .
Ours start making noise pretty soon now, 40 yrs ago, when I moved here, I asked a local what kinda frog that was, and he said, oh... Theys jes frogs Ah reckon. Then I knew I wasn't in California no more! Which, by the way, was fine with me!

I grew up around there, it is beautiful. Video is like going home. Check out Big Piney Inn just up the road from park, used to have great fish i haven't been in years.
Any new travel plans this spring?I love those frogs,we have them in our yard.cant wait til spring to open the windows at nite and hear them thru the nite
What is that oven you used? My husband and I have been living in a tent camper for 2yrs now and boy do I miss having an oven to bake. We currently cook on a 2 burner propane camper stove.

Green leaves will be coming out in another month. Yes cypress trees are lovely and graceful when the Spanish moss sways with a light breeze.

That state park is beautiful but not in summer mosquitos from hell the size of bees lol.
That looks yummy and simple I will be trying it.. thanks 🙏 enjoy your time in life it is truly short godbless.

If you want some crunch with your Mexican casserole you can add tostada shells between layers or as many as you want.

I love that we get 2 videos a week. These ones on Tuesday are a fun tie over to Thursday. Thanks.
I recognized Caddo Lake before I read it in the description. Love the views.
Have made that dinner lots of times only thing l like to do is when you added the broth I add the zest of 3 to 4 limes

We have tree frogs under our pond here in Fairbanks. They come out in May and sing for a couple of weeks.
Just saw where you guys are. We live in Marshall Texas and camp at lake o the pines regularly. Beautiful spot.

Love that tree frog chirp.
Those frogs all stop "peeping" at once; my wife brought that to my attention.
Meal poked great 👍, nice cabin tent too
It’s still too cold where I am. I can’t wait for warmer weather.
My favorite sound🐸

Does that make border Louisiana and Texas?
Or am I maybe thinking of Bayou Black, or Caddo Parish?

Hello, newest FRIENDS! What a beautiful place. I look forward to seeing more of your channel! LUCRETIA
Open a towel and place it under your cutting board , that will keep it from bouncing around when you chop. Your cutting skills are improving.
A damp paper towel works too, then you can use it to wipe up when your done
That was an awesome looking dinner. 😃
We have tons of little Cyprus lakes down here around El Dorado AR. They always remind me of Jurassic Park! Especially when an alligator or water moccasin slithers by the boat.
You make it look easy!
Hello, food looks awesome. Guess I'd be worried if the frogs stopped making noise.
Oh caddo lake!! my uncle has cabin out on caddo lake
