I had confidence you'd be able to fix the stem. The bracelet, that seems like a bigger challenge! (I know this from experience on my own Eco-drive. Brutal!)

Those bracelets are a real pain putting on. They cleaned up nice and the ultrasonic cleaner and then I buffed it up so scratches are now gone. Just trying to source a stem at the moment 65-5 26.

Hi JD, I have that spring bar tool. I found I had to get the fine fork bit. The course fork is not so useful. Fortunately the replacement fine fork is inexpensive.

Hey, thanks. I just saw my video I have a boatload of spring bar tools, and the one that was the most expensive one was the worst.

Well done, I know how tricky that can be.
I had to do the same thing earlier this week on a tiny DKNY woman’s quartz watch in a little rectangular curved (ala Gruen Curvex) style case.
With no crown to pull on, getting the stem out after depressing the release was very fiddly due to limited clearances inside the case.
This Citizen you are dealing with is much larger, but it didn’t seem to have any extra room to work when compared with the watch I’m talking about.
Given the stem was going to be replaced anyway, I was tempted to try to put a notch in it somehow to get purchase on it to push it out, but it wasn’t necessary in the end.

This job is real pain. What ended up doing is edging it out with a screwdriver blade against the threads on the stem while pushing on the release button. I had to make sure that the stem was pushed all the way in before I did this. I did this job for someone who actually works for me. I’m still trying to figure out where the source of stem where it it’s not gonna cost me $1 billion. I think it’s a 65-526 stem.

@@JDRichard how does $8.60 sound for the stem? I’ve emailed you a link to the seller (not affiliated with me!). Tried to post it here but my comment kept getting deleted after a minute or so.

I have a similar echo drive with a broken stem. Citizen will not sell me the part or provide the part number. Where did you source the parts. This is a bigger challenge... Great job!

@JDRichard crown tube JD? I messed it up. I want to fix the watch but need to see if I can get that piece. I bought it for $10 but someone had been in there before because face was 180 degrees off. Those hands are not easy to get on. The seconds hand was bent. It flew off and God only knows where it went.
