I saw Jack in LA in 2004. I had gotten free tickets to the premiere of Spanglish, directed by James L Brooks and starring Adam Sandler, both former Jack Nicholson collaborators. After the movie was over, I was in the lobby in a long line waiting to leave, and Jack comes strolling down the opposite aisle, looking exactly like himself, with the slicked back hair and colored glasses. I see him, my jaw drops, and I stare like a moron. He makes eye contact with me, raises an eyebrow, and makes a face that basically says, "Yep. It's me."
