Excellent job, I knew there was another Comptons Most Wanted tape developed right before the direction of the group and MC Whit under the new Sony contract in which was distribution was handled by Epic Street. The main reason this tape was never released is because the "Comptons Most Wanted" contract had expired after Music to Drive-by; MC Ehits new contract only included him and DJ Slip, besides the sub contracts of William Zimmerman and others. So basically this tape had no industry, MC Ehit featuring CMW: We Come Strapped (1994) was the next tape we heard, top group in the 1990's.

This album should have came out! Eiht had the song Compton 4 life on the third CMW album. " Music to drive by"! These songs sounds like a mix of " We come strapped " & " Death threats" ! I remember that song " Westsider from back in the day! I had the 12' album single All for the money & Westsider was the bonus song on it! Good ole days! Miss the '90s!

Yo thank you a lot for uploading this homie, shit is very dope. Shame they didn't publish this album yo. Ain't no love, Westsides and We putz in much work are my favorites for sure. We putz in much work has a dope sample and I would put it in Music to Driveby era fo sure. The bass in Westsides is very interesting and dope. Ain't no love has that formula DJ Slip improved and mastered on We Come Strapped. Similar dope type of bass and same dope strings like on tracks like Niggaz make the hood go round or Goin out like Geez. Rapping is really on OG level on every track here. My pleasure amigo been a huge fan of compton's most wanted and Dj Slips work since i was a kid and finally manages to find these beats scattered on the internet and the album was mentioned in an interview in 1993 and would of been a WC classic, my favorite is Ain't no love, We putz in much work and Sly slick & Wicked. There was another guy known as the DJ Unknown who produced some songs too. There was also Mike T very early in the days.
Now that I think about it. These songs where probably from an unreleased album. It’s a big gap maybe two years between Music to drive by and We Come Strapped. These songs were made some where between 92 and 94. Music to Drive by came out in 92. We Come Strapped came out in 1994. This may be an Album that’s unreleased due to Eith being in Menace II Society. Some of these songs sounds like it should have been on We Come Strapped tho considering when most of them were made. Maybe early 94. Maybe some left over songs or songs that didn’t make the album that was going to be We Come Strapped.
i heard "we putz in much work" was going to be on the "We come strapped" album but it was cut due to the instrumental not having sample clearance and it was more a "music to driveby" ambiance but who really knows lol
"kill em off and Ain't no love" i'm not sure what happened because it sounds like they didn't use any samples and "wesitsides" is on a "geez make the hood go round" promo album and an extra. Would ov been a perfect edition to "We come strapped" but for the other songs i just guest it was for the unreleased NOTR album
@@DJWHOOP I agree. If you think about it, We Come Strapped has a totally different sound from the previous CMW albums. You also have to look at the contributions on Willie Zimmerman aka Willie Z and Slip stepping his game up.
100% it was one hell of a drastic change in the instrumentals style but i loved it, all those piano and strings and bass was very distinctive and was no other sound like what they had at that time. Damn i miss the music from back then

This album was "Niggaz On Tha Run" 1st album but it got shelved. Which means they paid upfront for it but never released it. The music industry is crazy.
