Everything about the 90’s intrigues me, the fashion, the music, the cars, the ways of life, literally everything feels right
I turned 16 in 1990. It was the greatest time to be alive, without question. When we were little kids we were constantly told the entire planet was going to get destroyed in a nuclear war any second now. Then the wall came down, the USSR collapsed in 91, and we had a decade long party. Right up until 2001 when they found a new excuse to keep us in a constant panic. That panic wore off and they tried diseases... you guys now that part, the point is they've been doing it since before I was born. I'm typing this out to "Blind individuals, when is it gonna stop? Selling your soul to increase bankroll" and if that ain't it I don't know what is. Hip hop was there during that party saying "how about we stop worrying about the whole world for a minute and talk about the problems we face day to day as individuals". I mean we had thrash metal bands playing with hip hop acts, white dudes and black dudes hanging out and smoking blunts together and just being themselves. There was a connection in society that doesn't exist now.
Uhhh I miss the times of the golden era. Born in '78 I growned up with all these underground artists. Much luv to all you bumpin' Hiphop headz out there. I'm representin' Germany, my heart feels the vibe since '91. keep it real, rap on and dont talk the talk if you cant walk the walk!!! peace.

I'm tired of hearing "nigga" and "bitch" in almost every second word of hip-hop songs, and also shitty lyrics about how much money someone has or how they got one up on their "haters". It's self indulgent bullshit that's saturated the genre and bored the tits off me for years. It was fine back when NWA or Public enemy were doing it, but it's old hat now. I want to hear about stories and personal experiences that mean something. I really dig this mix becasue they seems to be saying something and I really like the more low-fi production.

I love it!!! Great collection right here. Born in the 70's, but I don't remember hearing any of these songs in the 90's. I remember the group Cipher Complete and the name Rhetoric sounds familiar. This is gold right here! That East Coast sound can not be denied.
Thank you for uploading. I remember when I’d visit my dad in NJ from Fla, back in the 90”s I was lucky enough to get a taste of what real hip hop is. Nothing against west or south, but imo you can’t touch east. Again thank you
All about the groove. Where did it go? And why? Loved this sort of thing in the 90s. I know this is more hard core but Trevor Nelson's radio show in the UK was my go-to. Sunday afternoons..
That "Last Breath" song by Cipher Complete hits very differently compared to most songs I've ever heard, in any genre. The sample and the reverb effect on the vocals gives a very dreamlike feeling to the whole sound that I love. Only one like it that comes to mind is "Rainbow" by Shakkazombie.

Thanks for this package. Glad to see that hip hop was this great!❤
I come from a Drum & Bass background, I'm not really into mainstream hiphop but I really feel these low fi beats and dope rapping. Gotta keep it underground!

Yup the late 80s (as a kid) and the 90s (as a teenager) I lived in the best era of music.
Yes Indeed.
Back before all music is controlled and goes through filters to make sure it keeps people retarded
When I say to people "I love hip hop" I mean this kinda stuff. It's a phrase that refers to so much but to me this is the essence of hip hop.

This mix got me hot stepping. Been a minute since I heard No Hook.
This is truly why I fell in love with hip hop ❤
I'm 99% techno, detroit 90+ fanatic...but Songs like Ghetto Children - I'm a MC, or even Souls of Mischif - 93 til Infinitiy take me on another level...tracks with deep vibes, melodic atmosphere...can someone recommend other songs which are similiar to those? Thanks for this package. Glad to see that hip hop was this great!❤

I come from a Drum & Bass background, I'm not really into mainstream hiphop but I really feel these low fi beats and dope rapping. Gotta keep it underground!
Dope selections on here - that laid back 90's vibe we all love. Question: How did you find al of these gems? From you crate of 12'? Anyway, great work! XO
