Tool library: set up, saving locally, renumbering, tool holder selection(or in some cases no tool holder would be great ) etc... At some point, Fusion stopped saving newly created tools to my library not sure if I did something or what happened there. It used to be if I create a tool it went right into my local tool library automatically. Thank you for the videos! Great work!
Hi, I have a 2D sketch on Fusion 360 and would like to export it as IGES to import it in ANSYS, but when I try to import the IGES in ANSYS it tells me that no area was created. Can you please help me? Thanks
Hi Lars, my laser needs IGS files and can only handle files from Solidworks. Any way you could help me or point me in the right direction to find a solution? Thank you
Hi Lars and tnx a lot for your great videos. I have a question about the back face colour of surface geometry in the patch workspace. Yours in this video is yellow-orange (or to some extent goldish), but mine is dark black. So as the front face in grey, these colour combinations make 3D modelling hard in distinguishing edges, vertices, etc. Could you please give some advice about how may I change it?
Do you have another background color? I’m thinking that might be it. You can change the environment on the small computer screen looking icon at the bottom of the screen

why is it that whenever I am importing .STEP 3d solid geometry from Fusio360 to ANSYS, it becomes a hollow surface only?
Sounds like something is not water tight. If you bring the same step file back in to Fusion, does it come in as a solid?
