HAVE A 2008 CADILLAC ESCALADE. INSTALLED ISIMPLE MARCH 2018 WORKED FINE UP UNTIL MAY 1ST. BLUE TOOTH QUIT WORKING AND CANNOT REPAIR. HAVE FOLLOWED ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN MANUAL. PROBLEM IS NOT WITH APPLE IPHONE 7 HAD CHECKED OUR AND IT PAIRS WITH 2014 CADILLAC CTS AND TWO OF MY OLD BLUE TOOTH EAR PIECE . NEED HELP
Same here installed it on my 2006 Silverado ended up replacing the factory head unit with a blue tooth compatible unit. The I simple connect worked for 2weeks then never again.
It's not a FM channel to connect bluetooth. Those are two different frequencies. You tune the device and radio to matching channels and bluetooth your phone to the device..
all gmc car and trucks come with Bluetooth phone intergration no need for this from years 2007 and up all you do is press phone button and say Bluetooth pair and follow the instructionsbut this is great for other device Bluetooth like pairing phone but not needed for 2015 and up already in those cars
