    I still have problems with the rhythm of French speaking, which is one of the reasons I like your speaking practice. This video also made me more aware of pronouncing the French words "en" and "on". Thank you for not only these videos, but all the work you do.

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane This series helps with it a lot, but I wanna ask, do you have a video of you looking at a paragraph and kind of breaking down >how to tell< where to raise your voice, where to pause, where to change tone/intonation, etc? I stuggle with that. I am able to follow your paragraphs well, but I sometimes don't know the proper way to say another paragraph when I'm reading 😥

    Hi Dylane,
    Great video👍. I love listening to your voice. Could you please explain why you pronounced ‘plus’ as ‘plu’ and not ‘pluS’ in the sentence: “Le voyage va durer un peu plus de deux heures”.
    It’s a positive sentence and ‘plus’ is not followed by an adjective but by ‘de’. So I thought the ‘s’ should be pronounced as it is in: “un peu pluS de deux jours d'école”.
    Merci d'avance.💙

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane

      I could have said it or not in this case :)

    • @martinl583
      @martinl583 Рік тому

      It's just that I thought there might be a special rule because I saw in the comments to an old video your saying that when ‘plus de’ is used in reference to numerical quantity, pluS becomes plu. The example given was: “C’est possible de suivre plus(plu) de 20 heures de cours per semaine”. Is this correct or have I misread things?@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
