Beautiful area you were in. That was a great camp site too. Is there fishing in the river? Nothing tastes better than a fresh trout or salmon just caught and cooked over open fire!
There are a few trails out in the Waiparous area. Some would be friendly to a stock 2017 Outback and others favor a vehicle with more ground clearance.
Would you say this trail is good for beginners? I just built my truck with a 3 inch suspension lift and some 34's looking into doing some off roading now.
My son just purchased his 1st 4x4. That's the spot I ended up taking him. No lift just stock. There are some larger mud holes starting to develop so you will have to pick your line. But still doable with the stock vehicle
Thank you for sharing! Beautiful!
Anytime!!

Great pictures/video of the flowers and scenery WOW. That's a good setup in the back of the Taco 👍
Agreed!
I’m glad to see Frank use his tent. It’s a pretty cool set up when he first showed it to us 🏕

Yes...there were trout in the river. I did not bring my fishing rods.
Next time I will be sure to bring them
@@OverlandAlberta Its catch and release only in Waiparous creek.
@@bradleykent6451 thanks for the heads up!
I was supposed to camp there this week end, had to give up the idea cause of thunderstorm warning..
Ya...was pretty rainy this weekend
My rig is almost ready how would I get to tag along?
Would you recommend airing down the tires for those trails?
I ran 25psi for the trip. Not a difficult trail but I like to run a little lower on gravel roads for comfort.
Overland Alberta Thank you.

I'm think about going here on a stock 2017 Outback, do you think it will be good enough?

Hey J, can you share the exact location of the campsite? It’ll only my 2nd time if ever i go back to Waiparous Thanks in advance.
It was just at the beginning of the Waiparous road near the river. Do not have the coordinates.
