I'm a hardcore metal head but I heard under the stars and her voice has woke something up inside me that I thought died a long time ago. Now I can't stop listening to her music.
This is going to sound a little weird but I need to say it somewhere. This song made me realize that I want to live. All of her songs make me feel something inside, but this one really has solidified it for me and now I know what it is. I want to live, I want to be free, I want to let go of the stupid worries and fears the world has given me and just experience everything. I have been suicidal for a long time, and I still am, but I feel like this song made me realize there are things in life that are worth fighting for. And I want to try to keep fighting.

I was having a bad week and this reminded me that it's ok to cry and not hold it back anymore. What I get from the clip is that we're always ready (scissors in hand) to cut off/repress our tears/sadness because it's considered a form of weakness. She looks worn out, waiting for the next tears to come, scissors in hand. At some point she has an insight (nature inspired/water/river/cleansing) and throws scissors away. When next wave comes, she accepts it and goes through it. She's energised now, running, she feels something good is coming out of it... It feels natural! Finally, tears turn into beautiful roses, making her even more beautiful and unique being. Oh boy this song helped me come to terms with the miscarriage my wife and I suffered. I don’t know how but it just opened up a box of emotions I was keeping locked away. It’s so perfect, nails the bittersweet sadness of loss while still being able to look back and smile at happier memories and ultimately allowing yourself to just accept that pain and let the river run wild. As a person, I always try to hide my sadness, depression and anxiety. Otherwise, I'd think people would judge me and see me as a weak human being. This song and music video literally touched me on a spiritual level. All of those feelings I try to hide, those are the things that make me human. My gosh, I can relate to the message in this song for sure. When I was younger, my dad always made it clear that he thought admitting to pain, and especially emotional pain was a weakness. I've been to many classical music concerts over the years, but until Aurora there has been no pop singer that I've ever wanted to see live, so pop concerts for me have simply never happened. But of course, Aurora is no ordinary pop singer. She is unique and beautiful, and a genius, and I am looking forward to this like nothing before. But yes, I share your concern about Aurora's well being too. Looking at her website, I see that between now and the end of the year she has no less than forty gigs in seven countries. This song helped me realize that some resentment I was holding in for so long was actually just sadness disguised. And as I listened to this, I cried it all out because I was so tired of having that weight on me, and it feels so good and so natural to just let it all go. Like going back to who I really am. I never was that resentment, I was always just a person with a shining heart that was hurt in the past, and who swallowed tears that turned into thorns. I'm not afraid to let the river run wild now, and to let my heart shine again with scars and all. Auroras songs have all helped me in extremely deep ways. I'll never be grateful enough for all that they've done for me.

Oh boy this song helped me come to terms with the miscarriage my wife and I suffered. I don’t know how but it just opened up a box of emotions I was keeping locked away. My gosh, I can relate to the message in this song for sure. When I was younger, my dad always made it clear that he thought admitting to pain, and especially emotional pain was a weakness. I've been to many classical music concerts over the years, but until Aurora there has been no pop singer that I've ever wanted to see live, so pop concerts for me have simply never happened. But of course, Aurora is no ordinary pop singer. She is unique and beautiful, and a genius, and I am looking forward to this like nothing before. I don't know how this started because I've seen how strong a bond with others can get through sharing mutual or personal sadness. I guess I'm deeply conditioned to not feel comfortable doing it.

YES! We are united!! Some don't get it. It's about more than just music. It's about this feeling of connectedness that Aurora has to all of us, and us to each other. I do truly think she touches those who have a similar inner being, it's spiritual in a way. I know there's something there's something there, but I don't know where it comes from, or how to explain it, exactly. I noticed also... and two themes that reoccur in her lyrics, tears and drowning. She overcomes her drowning by letting go of her tears, and look what beautiful blossoms come from those tears. Just like in real life.
Whenever i listen to a new song of Aurora I always do it three consecutive times, the first one to drink in the music, to have a taste of it and to get surprises, the second one to listen carefully to the lyrics (i always look for them since i'm not fluent in english) and the third time to enjoy it altogether, the music, the lyrics, the feelings.

I hope she knows how great she is, and how important is her music to some people. I found her in the most weird chain of events ever, as if the universe wanted me to know her, and I am thankful for it.
I'm 15 years old (also sorry for bad english) and i'm recently having serious family issues and hurtful things are being told to me.
Her songs are beautiful and make me feel like resting on the wilderness, maybe as an escape but also it cleans my soul and mind from hurtful thoughts that do me no good.
With no offense I want to say that I am not religious or anything, but Aurora's songs make me feel a strange yet nostalgic, magic feeling
Anyways, it shouldn't really matter what happens in my life. The point is that Aurora is a wonderful musician and singer.
