Some talented musicians can play by ear. Considering the fact that he's a multi instrumentalist he's probably very good at arranging the sound in his mind.

Hab jetzt ein paar andere Folgen von "Rock the Classic" gesehen und in meinem Vergleich sind Eluveitie diejenigen, die das am Besten hinbekommen haben. Einfach nur toll! Anna und Chrygi haben das mit ihrer Stimme genial unterlegt.
Als Note: Eins mit Sternchen.
Und ich wäre gerne bei der Uraufführung dabei gewesen. :-)

Did you know that the dutch metal band Epica has covered "In the Hall of the Mountain King" on their album The Classical Conspiracy? Works quite well with doublebass I have to say :D And awesome show format from 3sat!

Dan McCarthy yes cellar darling was her solo. When the drummer was fired and the guitarist left eluveitie, they joined her solo project ( cellar darling)
No. Her solo thing from 2013 or whatever was just under her name, 'Anna Murphy'. The -album- was called 'Cellar Darling', not the project.
After the 3 of them exited Eluveitie, they started a new band, 'Cellar Darling', which is a different project from her solo album.

Also Metal und Klassik geht sowieso schon mal im Allgemeinen gut zusammen. Es gibt eine gewisse Verwandschaft. Besonders, wenn es melodiöser Metal ist.

I always found a Norwegian band Asmegin underestimated. This video shows the potential of this band, because this song sounded very similar to their sound.

For me tarja's is nightwish n nightwish is tarja... Angela Gossow is Arch Enemy anna is eluveitie n Simone is Epica Just it... Nothings can change it..
that's just stupid to say that. this simply means, that you can't accept change at all. Angela left on good terms with arch enemy and alissa was her personal recommendation. And floor does a better job at nightwish than both tarja and anette. And then anna now has with cellar darling a own band which allowed her to be truly creative in songwriting and in using her voice. I can't recommend cellar darling enough. they are now one of my favorite bands, because their 2nd album the spell is so insanely good. Listen to insomnia.

No, they are not speaking swiss german, they are speaking high german, but - except from the host - they have a swiss accent.
