So helpful to watch how you go about this! Hearing your thought process is invaluable. I encourage you to make more of these, Philip! I'd also be curious to see how you go through these in a timed fashion - wouldn't even need to be an entire 30 minute section; just a 10 minute vid with 10 questions could be so revealing. Sorry to pester if you've already done something like this - I suppose I should search on your channel next :) Take care! -Hillary
Great videos, Philip - keep em coming. Question regarding general GRE verbal structure on the "click all that apply" questions, e.g. #3 here, with the checkboxes, will GRE ever have correct answers where all three of the checkboxes are considered a correct answer? In my practise I've just seen 1, or 2, ... would appreciate your consult!
Although I feel it was "mostly" luck, but when I did this question I got all of them right relatively quickly which begs the question "Is *hard* subjective when it comes to passage difficulty?"
love your videos! where can i find more practice materials for RC/GRE/Verbal that is equal to if not harder than the exam? i have already exhausted the ETS material! lmk
Hi Phillip! I am preparing to apply to a very competitive Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Program. A GRE of 310+ is required. Being in an accelerated nursing program right now, I don't get to keep much of a job. Everything I have found to prepare for GRE is so expensive. Which order of your videos should I begin to start learning and preparing for GRE? Do you have any suggestions for organized study to cover all test subjects? Thank you for all you're providing for us! Your videos make everything so easy to understand.
Thanks Lyndsey. The best free options are to do the free 2 ets powerprep tests, and the free manhattan and free kaplan tests. And while doing these and reviewing the mistakes, watch all my GRE videos. You could just start with the oldest to newest. Also (sssh this is illegal), I am pretty sure there are free pdfs of most books online :)
Hello Philip. Recently I have been hearing from peers that both verbal and the quant section got crazy hard? Would you like to do a video on that how to cope with those unfamiliar crazy hard questions (regardless of easy/medium/hard sections) in both Quant and verbal? Would be a great help!
Hello! Thanks for the nice video. However, I am struggling to improve my reading skills. I am reading regularly and slowly for a year but still not seeing results. Kindly guide me.
@Supratim: You are from maths background? Because I have given GRE yesterday and I've got 164 but since I am looking for 168+, I'd give it again. I did some silly mistakes...
I have seen many videos on RC but this one is the that i was searching for!!!!
U deserve a lot more subscribers sir..
Thanks Sneh Sneh
I totally agree. I will recommend this channel to anyone preparing for GRE.
