These tutorials are gold, I’m tryna make a 15 minute anime episode from now until the end of the year and these videos are a life saver
Good stuff :) 4 frames is also nice for me sometimes but I also usually go for 3 also ty for reminding me where auras start I usually just draw them like a light coming off a character
You can use as many frames as you’d like, I was being conservative here. It depends on the look you’re going for.
My point was just to show that it can be done quickly and simply!
hell yeah :D its one if not the smartest way to get smth done (im glad I picked it up fast because it'd suck to draw the aura moving 100 times)@@DamonBilliot
Nice
This looks siiick 🔥
Yoooo saving this ! Great stuff
you're great stuff 🤭
Goated
Nice 👍
when i blend them together it doesnt remove the black background?
No it doesn’t! That’s why you change the blending mode to “Add” or “Screen”!
yeah i did that :
@@rishonmathew1056 this is not possible. “Add” and “screen” remove blacks and only leave whites. Double check the other steps of the tutorial, there may be a mistake somewhere else
watched the video over like 100 times, i did everything exactly the same..@@DamonBilliot

1) animate the aura
2) in after effects, fill the back layer black
3) put a white “inner glow” layer style on the back aura
4) put a white fill on the front layer
5) precomp them together. Click the second option
6) change the blending mode to add or screen, and add the radial blur
