Arrange your health examinations:
You will need the HAP ID to make an appointment for your health examinations.
If you are unable to undergo the health examination within the timeframe requested in your Request for Health Examination letter, you should notify the Department by attaching details through your ImmiAccount.
If you have not yet lodged a visa application or have not been requested to undertake an immigration medical examination, there is no need to contact a visa medical services clinic in Australia or an overseas panel clinic at this time.

Call 1300 794 919 to arrange your health examinations if:
you do not have internet access, or
you need to arrange a Carer visa assessment, or
you need to arrange a fitness to depart or travel assessment
Outside Australia
You must be examined by one of the Department’s approved panel physicians or clinics.
A panel physician is a doctor or radiologist appointed by the department to do health examinations outside Australia at an approved clinic.

What if you already have a hap id and you are required to take another medical examination, can you use the same hap id and schedule a new medical examination or you need a new hap id?
If you are required to have a medical examination, the E medical letter should have HAP ID in relation to the the required medical examination.
If you have not received an official request letter from Case Officer for your medical, your application should have been flagged that you are required a medical, you can click on that and follow the prompt. Generally you need to compete the medical history, then after, your e medical letter will be generated with HAP ID

It should have already flag on your immi application that you are required to have a medical. You can check your application via immi account under your application. Alternatively you have to wait until CO requests. However if you want to do it upfront, you can open your immi account application and follow the prompt.

If you require a medical for your visa application, it will be flag on your immi application. You can complete your 'medical history' , Then after, a generated Emedical referral letter containing your HAP ID.
