Why was I so obsessed with this game as a kid? I didn't even have the whole game, I just replayed the demo over and over. I would reach the end where they would promo future levels and swoon with longing. But my parents never bought it for me. Memories.
I just found this almost 28 years later of trying to remember this games name. I remember playing this on my dad's computer when I was little along with Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein and Doom. It's not exactly as I remember it as I was 4 when it came out and probably was about 6 last I played so my memory of it might be jumbled a little. I don't remember it being so brightly colored but that could just have been our monitor and I don't remember the music being so upbeat but the character in gray robes shooting a magic bolt I remember vividly. Finally I can put a name to that fond memory.

I was partial to this and Jazz as they were easy enough for me as I was the youngest, hence I have such fond memories... and how the fuck do I still remember the layouts and secret areas to all these maps??

I'm no big gamer, but this came with some other software on floppy disks, in those ancient days, and found this game fun and it had nice artwork (for the time) I especially liked some of the background scenes visible through the windows. Good times!

The second video game I ever played after Prince of Persia. I loved this game so much :D We didn't have a good enough computer, cause we had an old one without internet. But my cousins father owned his own company, and they always had a lot of money compared to my family, so they had new computers and stuff. I used to play it at my cousin all the time.
I remember discovering the install file for this game on my Mum's computer with utterly no idea how it got there, or what it was. It then went on to be (I believe) the first game I ever completed.
I still have this on cd, but no pc that support this game. This game is better then the Zelda series..... This bring back good memories. It`s the NO 1 Classic from the 90`s.

This is so nostalgic :D So incredible. I used to play this when I was about 6. My dad told me where on the computer I could find it, and played and played and played. In total I finished this game 2 or 3 times. I knew where to find all the bonus treasure and key combinations. So cool. I still have it, on my WindowsXP PC. And I still like it, more then some games that have been made in the last couple of years. The level with the big trees always made me so nervous, anyone remember that level? :D

You wouldn't happen to know another wizard game in which you collect green gems, and go after a treasure? Your timer is the amount of steps you can take, and white gems increase it.

Well, there are two options, you can download DOSbox, [an emulator which makes the classics compatable and with great classics] or you can get VDMsound. All in all, they're both brilliant emulators. :}

They have actually, check out GOG games, so you can play this bad boy on any modern PC! :)
Proper, user-friendly games back then, no online registrations and website accounts and marathons of code-inputs needed before being able to play.
