- Hi everyone and welcome. It's time I tried something new and I hope you'll join me for this series where I'm going to attempt to build my first ever Scale Models.
Model building is all new to me so any help you can offer will be well received.
I'n this video, I show you what items I've been buying over the past 6 months or so in preparation and my first attempt will be the 1:72 scale Bandai Y-Wing Starfighter from Star Wars.

Hi Mate, I have zero experience too but have always wanted to give it a go. I've nearly finished Episode 2 and I've built, painted and weathered the nose cone of the Y-Wing. I made a ton of mistakes (which you'll see) but really enjoyed doing it which is the main thing. I think it still looks great though and it's made me feel like I've really achieved something new. I'd say do what I did and get a relatively cheap model to practice on.
