I sat next to her family at this meet beside my friend Ben with the bucket hat, it was so dope seeing their camaraderie and getting to watch Anna run at FL Relays in-person for the 2nd year in a row was amazing!

It's very rare to get an athlete who is so good at both the heptathlon and the 400 hurdles. I suppose she could theoretically race the 400H on the Diamond League and then do the heptathlon at the major champs. Nice combo and very lucrative.

True. Jessica Ennis Hill was world class at the 100m hurdles. Infact if I remember correctly the time she did in the heptathlon in London 2012 would have got her a medal in the women’s 100m hurdles. The British team actually asked her to compete in the 100m hurdles and she was going to but eventually decided to just concentrate on trying to win the heptathlon. Also thiam and KJT are world class high jumpers. Most of the great heptathlon athletes are world class in a event but for anna to be world class at an even that’s not even in the heptathlon is very unique.
