@@jwebb4659 seaguar might not be the toughest but it casts much better than most fluorocarbon. That’s why I use it. These tests give us good information about toughness but cast ability is equally as important.
*I use this fishing line on the Kenai River Reds and **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it works great. I use braided line most of the time but needed a Mono for Reds. Holds up good and blends in with the river. Great price for a lot of line.*
Its so crazy seeing these tests and what I assume will happen and what actually ends up happening. I use both seaguar and yozuri line, have slowly been trying more yozuri line that I havnt tried yet and pretty excited to try that T7 especially after seeing this. One thing ive noticed about you testing seaguar in this and previous videos is how inconsistent it is every test you do. Great stuff, keep up this test videos, love them!
Thanks for this!! Pretty limited selection up here at the local stores. Seagar is one that is usually on the shelves and $$$. So, after seeing your other tests, I'm avoiding them all together. Appreciate seeing honest reviews. Sadly that's a rarity these days.
@@DishesandFishes glad you are showing your test results. I have used FC Sniper exclusively for years and I’m a little disappointed to see the results and paying a premium price. Maybe your test results will cause these companies to rethink what they are doing since they know people are seeing comparable results against competitors.
I love gamma my self mate been using gamma for 2 years now and saved me in so many situations fluro and co-polymer. From a gamma user did you end up staying with gamma or switch to another product
Im looking at buying this exact YoZuri fluoro line as my leader as I use braid in 16 lb. I break a lot of line as fish rocks for walleye. Is this ok as a leader line. I am not prepared to pay for a premium leader line.
seems to me seaguar is that typical rip-off company that likes to charge premium prices for sub-par products and loves to mislead its customers with tricks such as selling 50 yards at $26 in order to keep the product in the same price range per spool as its competitors while still charging double the price.
@@DishesandFishes any mono really would be interesting. I’ve tested sufix tritanium plus, maxima, ande, and yo zuri hybrid against some fluoros and the results were interesting to say the least
i know this video is 2 years old but i just came across it doing some research.. i dont really care for how you are doing the up and down test because if you think about it.. that would mean the fish is coming straight at you while reeling and that very rarely happens. most fish are going to go side to side and also do head shakes. you really should be doing side to side tests not vertical tests. yes its good to know. but the side to side would be much more useful info... since that is going to happen far more than your line being dragged straight up and down of a rock.
Cast ability is a big thing for me. I’d love to see you test different line on both spinning and bait casting reels.
I don't feel like the Yozuri is as castable. I use Seaguar invizix just a fyi

There you go
Love your experiments, very informative and helpful in picking out the most optimal tackle

Same here. Lots of surprises. Thanks for watching
Awesome video. Really happy to have discovered your channel today! 👍👍
Appreciate you tuning in
Another test I would be interested to see is which one has the better knot strength and visibility.

Thanks for your test videos, very informative.
Thanks for watching 👊🏼
In a single afternoon Seaguar sales suddenly dropped world wide….
In a single afternoon Yo Zuri sales suddenly skyrocketed world wide.
Haha.. just being honest with my findings

i love gamma line a little disapointed in how it did for this test i use polyflex line though not the flurocarbon

Yes, I would try it
Everything I have used from Yo Zuri has been surprisingly good.
Right..
Ive tried several fluoros. I like the FC but I am a Gamma Guy. I feel bites with it that I wouldn't with other lines.
Stick with what works

Nailed it
great test bro
GREAT underwater abrasion testing! have you messed around with any mono lines in comparison to these fluoros?
I haven’t yet.. got any recommendations?

But did you measured the actual diameters?
No. Just by manufacturers label
Love to see it

Nice job, but you should have measured actual line diameter with calipers. Advertised diameter can be off.....
Good idea! Thank you
Spiderwire.
Japanese stuff always better
