I chop celery fine, dehydrate it, chop it again and use it like you would use basil, oregano or parsley. It’s great sprinkled on everything from vegetables to gravy, sauces and meats. It also gives a great flavor to my homemade canned broths.

Several years ago, I spilled about a pint of gasoline in the back of my Jeep…even after I soaked up as much as I could with newspaper, etc., the odor was so unbearable that I couldn’t drive without all the windows down…until I decided to drench the carpet with OdoBan. It worked like a charm within 24 hours and to this day the Jeep smells great!

❤❤❤i learned to cook from my sweet, beautiful petite Cajun Momma. She put onions, celery, peppers & garlic in almost everything she cooked. Especially soups & stews. She said that the celery leaves were the most flavorful part of the celery. Celery sticks stuffed with cream cheese is very good add in dates & pecans to the cream cheese and it's a treat!❤

Hi Danny and Wanda. We’re about your age so we can relate. (I also have similar heart issues for years that no one can figure out) We had a similar skunk experience. Years ago we boarded our horses at a friends farm. We had a large wooden tack locker we kept there. One day while arriving to the barn, I saw a skunk run past me and over to where our tack locker was. He’d ended up hiding under it. Our friend told us not to worry and to just go enjoy the day with our horses. While out riding we heard a gunshot. He told us he’d gotten it so no worries. Needless to say, we had to roll out our giant locker (thank goodness we had built it well on strong wheels lol) and empty it of EVERYTHING!! It all stank for weeks lol. He passed in 2012. We miss him dearly. What a great friend he was!! Glad you caught it before it caused any more damage. Love you guys and your channel ❤!

We had a horrible problem with skunks about 15 years ago in our country subdivision (1-acre lots). We moved in during summer and of course the seller didn't tell us about the skunk infestation in the area. Fall rolled around, and unbeknownst to us skunks dug burrows under the deck and front porch -- and all over the neighborhood. The smell woke us in the middle of one October night, and the fight was on! Hubby got a license to trap them since the critter catcher company wanted $150 for each catch. We even trapped them in our neighbors' yards (no charge) to completely eliminate the area population and eventually got rid of about 35 over a couple of years. Lord, that was a nightmare time. The neighbors loved us, though 😊.

We live trap in havaheart traps. Put a cover on it with the handle sticking through cardboard works good. Bait at night then trap and take em for a ride. ( back of the truck ) As long as you don’t frighten them they don’t spray. They may fart a bit but it’s so much easier to deal with. We rigged a parachute cord to open the door once you get the latch tripped. We did fifteen this year now young ones are turning up and we’re trapping them out. Shooting em just makes a mess and ammo is expensive.

Found out it was a raccoon. It was going into the coop and grabbing one every few days. It was pushing itself through the chicken wire. It crawled up the fencing and pushed through the top side of the wiring. So if anyone is having problems like this, put a trail camera out to see what's going on at night. He put an electric wire down low after that and the problem was solved.

When I was a kid my dad had a pigeon coop that he kept for training bird dogs. I used to go in there with a fishing net to catch pigeons. We started finding multiple pigeons every day still sitting in the nest boxes with no head. found out it was giant RATS. . Apparently more than 1 type of critter will eat only the head. Probably because they aren’t hungry they are just eating the candy.

We have neighbors who constantly let their livestock run loose, and this is NOT a free range area. Come the cold weather, there will be a harvest, because they have been warned repeatedly.

Years ago we had something getting our chickens. When we went to bed left the bedroom window open with the shotgun set up & a spotlight. When we heard the commotion in the night I flipped on the light & my husband shot. We immediately knew it was a skunk. That was its last chicken dinner!

Good morning Mr Danny and Ms Wanda. Once that smell is in y'all's nose it's there all day 😂. Caught one in a trap by accident and was like what do I do now since it was right next to the house. Was definitely not a fun situation. High tunnel as always looks amazing. Thank y'all for sharing have a blessed day.

When I spent first summer session at the Itasca Biology Station in Minnesota, someone was putting out live traps and caught a baby skunk. I was assigned to remove it, which I did without incident while the rest of the class watched from cover. The professor claimed that he no longer believed in Him, but I think that he was outprayed.

I have to share...my 90 year old mom traps and removes skunk from her property. She is a farm raised girl but wont expire them, so she raises a blanket in front of her walks to the cage covers it and puts in the back of her vehicle and releases l

I had 2 dauschunds years ago that both got blasted by skunks at different times. Turned out my neighbor had mommy and her babies living in his window well. He even put a ladder so mommy could get out for food. No wonder I couldn't stop the dogs from getting sprayed.

I'm like Danny, I understand that a skunk sprays to defend itself from other critters, but...why did our heavenly Father create it ? 😅 I wonder 🤔. Though it is a beautiful animal.
