Awesome video! I've got a similar watering can (with a long thin nozzle) that I grabbed at Ikea - really convenient! I totally get the hassle of constantly refilling lol. What I usually do is I constantly keep a few 1.5 liter (like a third of a gallon) bottles next to my plants and I refill from those to avoid running back and forth. If I can, I don't use the last few inches of water from each bottle because usually that's where most of the impurities would settle (if there are any from the pipes).

Good idea! I actually caved and hooked up a garden hose and nozzle to our guest shower... it's saved me SOO much time.

Hi!! I found you on Reddit and am excited to find a channel like yours! I've only just started watching (this and one other video) so apologies if you've answered this elsewhere, but could you tell me how many days you would water this setup in the fall/winter? And also, do you make your own succulent soil mix and if so, can you tell me your ratios?! Thank you and you should be super proud of these babes, they're AMAZINGGGGG!

Hey Chel! Sorry for the late reply... In the fall and winter, these propagations stay under my grow lights so the watering frequency doesn't change all that much. The succulents are still actively growing a lot and need watering about every 1-2 weeks. As for soil, I used to use Miracle Grow cactus soil, but I've since switched to doing a 1:1 ratio of regular potting soil and perlite!

do you get excess water under the trays after you water?

Sometimes! If there is excess water after a day or two, I'll drape the end of a towel into the bottom of the tray and it'll wick up any extra water.
