1ST: Please don't hate me because of the Jancy VS. Stancy stuff. In the show I kinda like both, this is a personal video, not something for u to come and mock me about.
This video is LITERALLY my life rn.
So...
I just went through a 5 year old relationship breakup. The sad part is, I'm totally fine. And it's sad because it shows how stuffed I was. I just think I cried it all while I was in that relationship. It was bad for me, I had no support, no friendship, etc. I turned out to be growing our love apart and I was the only one pushing things while he was just watching and criticizing everything, prohibiting me to talk to people, to go out, to have fun, to study, etc. There were some good stuff, but only on the first couple of years, since I just kept on going with that relationship not for love but for routine. And I'm also with a lot of shame for defending girls of abusive relationships, and I was the one struggling to get out of one that was messing up with my mental health, with my school, with my social life, etc.
While things were bad, I met someone that turned out to be my Best Friend. He's the most wonderful person I have EVER MET, same tastes, same school, same life expectations. We had a lot of time to get to know each other and I think that finally, I'm happy. [JUST I HOPE HE DOESN'T SEE THIS, EW].
STORY: This video is basically everything. She is dating someone that she likes, but not love. That is completely different of her, that was a jerk to her [I love Steve but he was just an idiot] and she is lying to herself, telling that she loves him, that he is a good guy, with a good heart, etc. While she is doing it, he keeps on disappointing her & when she is sad or alone, Jonathan is there for her. She is also ignoring him at school and he knows she is not happy with Steve. She gets mad a Steve, over and over again while getting closer to Jonathan and Steve, instead of getting her close, only pushes her away. So, they break up and she finally has the courage to keep the things with Jonathan going and they keep on getting closer and helping eachother, creating a friendship. However, she backs down, and tries to make up with Steve, looking away of Jonathan but turns out, Steve is worse and she finally breaks everything up with him, the worse way possible. He leaves, left her alone and drunk and ofc, Jonathan is there to help her, to take her home & take care of her. While things are bad with Steve, she realizes she doesn't love him anymore, admits it, and then takes the next step with Jonathan. Since that step, they're together & finally happy.
So, guys, please don't except that someone will change with time. It turns out that "some people can't be saved or changed" and life is too shot to sit back and wait for a guy to treat you right. Please, treat yourself right and choose someone that respects your decisions. Love isn't everything in a relationship - understanding, respect, friendship are also important. Never forget that.
