I use a Strike King Red Eye Shads for schooling bass in the Fall & it's a blast sometimes hooking 2 at a time. I use the Shimano DC baitcasting reel & can launch it long distance without spooking the school.

I'm glad to see that someone else likes the lipless cranks . I catch fish from March through November on them. My favorite color is purple over white with a yellow belly in all water types. Great video ! Stay safe !!

Looking forward to throwing the hammers as well. I’ve never had much confidence in the 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 no matter the brand. But the 1/4 oz on Guntersville burned over the grass in Shad then red craws after 1st of the year…spool on some new line, chunk it out there and hold on

I feel bad saying it, but it kinda made me happy to see you jacking with those tangled baits. As I do the same. No matter how you reorganize them, they always end up like that. If you rubber band those hooks together, the baits come out remarkably easy. Kind of a pain to do...but it will save time & frustration. 😊

I knew it was going to be the trap. I love throwing a lipless in the fall as soon as the water temp starts dropping. I picked up a few of the hammer traps in the spring and didn't get a chance to throw them. It's on baby.
