I think the bacon *could* have gone with the recipe. Some small bacon bits on the top maybe more like bacon dust. Salty and sweet.

Normally to make the cake you use german chocolate cake instead of chocolate angel food cake, ppl I know swear the german chocolate blends a lot better with the caramel and sweetened condensed milk better. Idk if that's true I would have to make one with german chocolate cake and chocolate angel food but it's normally made with german chocolate cake, at least where I'm from.

That's really the best way make & consume any type of poke cakes as they really need a full night in the fridge to let the flavors get to low each other & achieve maximum absorption. (I also would have chopped the Heath bar up a little bit more than Jack & Tammy did in this video, but that's just me, lol.)
