It is truly insane how many times Flanders comes up. At lower BR I feel like I'm playing the same three maps over and over, Flanders being the most common.

How i usually handle it is i play it to get my first daily task done then go higher, that gun with its handling, reload and stability, are the things of legends.

I adore the M3, I have a mouse with two buttons on the side. Left click for the 37, right click to select the 75 (so the scope is from that one, better for sniping), bottom mouse button for firing from the hip with the 75 and top button for resetting everything incase i forget with gun is selected.
Brutal in close quarters as you can spin the vehicle to face threats in two different directions, maintain full control over both canons and still have the left hand free for movement controls, AND better awareness as you can now relax in 3rd person more often.
Can be overwhelming at first having multiple guns to use. But once you master them, m3 lee becomes very dangerous beast

it feels like they will never not find a reason to nerf USA into the ground, there literally is not a single BR where the US is fun to play or has a good average W/L ratio. at 6.0 its damn near impossible to get kills with a 76mm gun. its especially disgusting that the M18 can get up tiered enough to face the T-44-100 which it has absolutely no hope against unless you are completely perpendicular to its side.
@dominuslogik484 The US are easy to play with bruh, and the 76 Jumbo is still really good at 7.3... And for the M18 you NEED to flank to get kills, of course if you go straight forward you'll get killed
@dominuslogik484 extreme skill issue detected, the USA has by far been the easiest time I've had in War Thunder yet. Good traverse and mobility combined with most of them using STABs and good HE filler on their APHE means you always get the first shot off and it's usually a one shot or at least an extremely crippled enemy. Pen isn't even that bad on most shells either, and there is APCR on the later WW2 tanks to pen the stuff that APHE doesn't. And if all else fails the CAS options are the best in the game.
@@brianmabon4703 "combined with most of them using STABs" you mean Sherman's and those only really help you get the first shot off when you come to a rolling stop. when using anything other than a sherman there is no STAB.
Good HE filler, you know who also has good HE filler along with higher angled penetration and higher base penetration values? the soviet tree where you will also find armor that wills top shots at least sometimes.
APCR is disgustingly bad and the issue is that the armor is well angled and thick not just thick so the angled penetration issues of APCR just exacerbates the issue.
CAS, dude if CAS is the solution its not a good tank tier ffs that is like saying the highway traffic isn't bad because you can just fly to your destination.

M3 Lee is great, because with the stabilizers you can either go goblin mode or you can decide to fight the entire enemy team on your own and do really well cuz of the multi guns
Oh boy I remember 10 years ago me and my friend were trying out war thunder for the 1st time and when we got the m3 lee we were so excited and love that little badass tank alongside with the m4 ( there were only usa, germany and ussr tanks meanwhile Britain , Japan and I think Italy just had planes :D , watching this video traveled me back in 10 year so much nostalgia . Thank you Dollar Plesi ! :)

So glad you had fun with this, some off my favourite moments are with a lee and grant.
Carpathia map before the new spawn point, we're south side. Entire teams meta plays and rushes A on the hill, me and my comrade go C, we rush, hyper aggressive cap and get into the the choke point leading to their spawn.
From here we delete the entire enemy, whilst our team watch above A. They tried putting all their resources into deleting these two grants and once one of us died (me) straight in the lee bolting back too start it all again. Most team works, supporting fire I have ever received, between us 31 players dead.
Favourite game ever played with a friend.
Requesting a dual cannon mini series, exploring all vehicles maybe not back to back, but if you would be kind enough would like to see this.

I just noticed, Dollar never played the L-62 ANTI II (Previously 2.7, now 3.0 and its rank 3 so it can be used during events)
Cause it is rubbish. Turret rotation is really slow.

I believe map bans are a major reason we only see the same few maps over and over, because the more people in a match that have banned a map the less options the game has to choose from (until you get sick of that map and ban it, leading to seeing a different one and the cycle repeats).
I would like to see them disable map bans for a period of time as an experiment. I would be interested in the players' reaction to seeing all the maps they never get to play on normally.
I think CS GO style playlists would be great, I don’t want to play 10 urban maps in a row
The only thing you'd find out with your experiment is what it's like to try to play a match with half your team leaving before the round even starts. Map bans exist for a reason, and that reason is that the maps and matchmaking in War Thunder are terrible.

That last map got me 15 kills back in the day with the yak-10 milktruck. That main street was a vehicle graveyard after the match
Most funny thing is , that when not full uptiered, the 37 mm is just enoug to deal with nearly anything, i used the 76 mainly to deliver smokes.
The chaos of low tier is amazing. Especially sense there are so few people who leave after 1 death.

I feel you would have plenty of fun with the 5.7 French line-up that is there currently or even the 6.7 one, especially after the ARL-44 and AMX M4 shell buffs. They rip and tear almost whatever they find while being pretty mobile and agile.

I used to play Na-To quite a lot, great gun and mobility, and small profile too. Would be fun to see a video on it as I can’t recall seeing many of them usually

Hey Dollar, if you're looking for more weird but great tanks then you should give the Ka-Chi a go if you have it, great gun, quick reload, tons of crew plus is quite tanky with the pontoons attached, would be great to see you try it out, especially since you don't see many nowadays sadly, warning though you will feel the urge to play the PotC theme while using it.
Another great contender is the Matilda Hedgehog which is also quite a rarity to see now, although the mortars aren't the most reliable they can be quite useful on maps where you know enemies will be huddled at a certain chokepoint or cap, however they sadly have the same flaw as the Calliopes' rocket battery where they can be ammo racked using HE / Filler.

Not a very weird tank but generally forgotten tank is the matilda, very slow with very big depression. Its either incredibly op and your the bully or you have to fight tooth and nail to survive.
God I hate how common Flanders map is. I didn’t mind it until I got it 50% of all my matches every time I played.
I always think that the rank 1 Italian mediums are overlooked. They aren't game breaking, but the 47mm they have are super punchy and the armor works well most of the time.
