You guys should do a cheap overlander/offroad challenge. One of the challenges you could do is do an orienteering video like the 2jp days before it was 2jp lol

This series has likely risen the value of quads, I just bought an old quad because of this and spent 500 at Rocky Mountain fixing it up.

Holy cow, Matt vs Nick might be the most perfect tied finish I've seen. Going frame by frame they touched the tape at exactly the same time. That was nuts. Amazing.
Break test down a deep hill, trail battle, quad tag, and after the series is over, everyone spend $1000 or less in mods and do the challenges again. Keep up the good work and ride on!!
Had I known about Rockymountianatv 4 years ago, I would have kept my Grizzly 400. The front diff blew n locked up n couldn't find one locally. The nearest Yamaha dealer is a 3 hour drive away.
@matt you definately gonna win the tractor pull. I had the exact same quad and it was doing weird stuff when hot. It was the valve adjustmemt who got to tight, these suzuki 230, 250 and 300 have a tendancie to stretch or shrink the valves a little everytimes they got hot and cool down. Meaning you don't have compression and vaccum to run the fuel pump, making it run lean and make a lot more heat Adjust these suckers twice a year and you should be good. I also swapped the carb for a earlier mikuni with an external pump (virtually any snowmobile pump will do, i used a 95 bearcat 440 pump)

Rocky mountain is great. When it was only them, bobs, and dennis kirk at the beginning, rocky mountain got my money everytime. If not just for their closeout gear deals that saved me and my buddies a bunch of times. Then when they started dealing oem parts, that was great.
I definitely think you should do a cheap sxs challenge. You could even do it in teams so that you wouldn't have to buy so many. A cheap golf cart challenge would be fun too.

Have Steve check his axle bearings. That'll cause the chain to fall off. I've had my trailboss since 2001. Bought it new, and had to replace the axle bearings twice now lol

Great video! Matt hint when you start off shift your gear selector 1st gear 2 then 3rd gear hold up on shifter rev atv engine and let go of shifter 3rd gear launch will blow your mind. P.S. only do this on mud, dirt and gravel.

My buddy had one of those king quads brand new in like pre 90', it ran like a tank, put it through hell, and never had those issues. Sounds more of a fuel starvation than vapor locking it. To add, for another customer i put a chinese rebuild into a polaris scrambler 4x4 in like 2008, and its still running around pennsylvania today. Ive rebuilt numerous quads, all in similar shape to these, and have been dependsble. We would do miles and miles in wayne national forest and friends properties.

I told you guys a few videos ago that yellow 400 Polaris was gonna go. …. Lol. That piston was slapping like crazy when you had her in the dyno. They are notorious for loose skirts then slapping then letting go

Back in about 2008 I built a pretty fast Scrambler 400 for a guy. AAEN sells some performance parts, big-bore kit and does some porting for the Polaris 400 2-stroke. Wanna say above 60hp but don't remember exactly. But the sucker was fast, smoked a Banshee with quite a few mods on it.
Funny scoreboard 1st tied which means next is 3rd. Just trying to make mates not feel as bad. Avagud1 fella's. Keep rippin around having fun.

CHALLENGE IDEA: quads are used for various around-the-farm jobs like carrying fence posts. Contestants must drive to a pick-up location, load fence posts, and then drive to an installation where they drop the post into a hole in the ground.

I had a 2008 Polaris 800EFI that I had to have at least a half tank of gas, if it was lower the fuel started to boil inside the fuel pump
