Where can we find this arrangement of the music? Bc the sheet music you posted does not match up with what’s being played in the video.
I only say that bc this specific arrangement is so wonderful! And a friend of mine and I would live to play it! But the trumpet/horn duet sheet music you posted isn’t the arrangement being played, and I just absolutely love this arrangement!

What is so fascinating is that both of the horn and the trumpet is played by the same person, but is expertly complied and edited to join the same person who played the two instruments separately, but is incorporated digitally to unite the two horn players together which makes this so unique and one of a kind.
I swear, horns produce the most heavenly sounds.

I remember when this movie came out in 1998. I spent my sophomore year learning to play this song with my Walkman playing in one ear and creating the sheet music. This is one of the best songs to play on French horn. The only other song that always got me was, as summer was just beginning.
That horn solo at the beginning was gorgeous. Great arrangement and playing!

@@Catalina81 You should just play long tones starting low and increasing with pitch, hold the notes as long as your breath can handle, keep doing this and you'll see results :)

This song was written for a movie about the Jews escape from Pharaoh's tyranny, but it hits similar notes (no pun intended) when you have also managed to pull free from another kind of tyranny: the clutches of a narcissistic parent.
This song of hope -- and that manifestation of prayers answered -- hits just that much more after praying for someone to help me get free, even though it was painful at first, realizing just how much I was gaslighted and lied to.
And then to hear this melody played on two of my favorite instruments? Waterworks central! 🥺🥺😭😭 It was a healing moment in the wee hours that I didn't know I still needed, even after two years in my own place.

I love this and all of your arrangements for The Prince of Egypt! This movie was a key thing in my childhood (the only VHS tape that's secured safely lol) and I only wish I could play the French Horn. Unfortunately, I only have the embouchure to play woodwind instruments and can't buzz my lips to even attempt learning the horn. Thank you so much for putting this out!
