It a bit of a way with words. Our knuckles are double shear around the tie rod end as one bolt passes through both sides of our aluminum knuckles on the upper half and bottom half of the tie rod attachment. So, it is technically a double shear. That being said, some people may want a double shear above the ball joint attachment to run pins, but these are not made for that. It is still double shear, but not in the ball joint area. Thank you for commenting!
