- It's our last day in Maui. We take advantage of a 12 hour wait before our flight back home and enjoy some delicious food and watch the amazing surfers! Hawaii's Paradise!

I love fried rice! That looked yummy.
Our son insisted we eat at the Gazebo. We had 12 hours until our flight so we didn’t mind standing in line for an hour. The fried rice was SO good well worth the wait. Sadly with no means to keep the leftovers we had to leave 1/2 behind 😊

We will be going to Hawaii in April this next year. So excited. We do plan to spend a day at Maui. We like sweet wines and will never likely get a "cultured" palate. LOL The food looked amazing, especially that Eggs Benedict. Thank you so much for sharing this. ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi

We will likely puddle jump from Oahu. I think the round trip going rate is like $75 each.
@@RVOnTheWayside For one day, I would recommend visiting Front street in Lahaina for restaurants, The Baldwin house museum, Oldest living Maui Banyan tree, shopping, beaches you can park and walk to everything. If you had a couple of days there is so much more to see of course. But either way you’ll enjoy yourself! We have several videos on Maui you might want to check out. ~Cara 😊

Thank you so much Kelly! Yes the food was delicious, we had 12 hours until our flight that night and had checked out of the resort at 10am so we didn’t mind the wait! The water in Maui was just stunning!! Everything about the island was just incredible! 🤣🤣 the wine tasting...you’ll have to watch our vineyard tour video it’s scheduled to be released April 17. Wow, that water really is gorgeous! I could kick myself, because my sister owned a condo on the big island for 15+ years and I've never visited it, and they just sold it. I'm in California and I've always thought Hawaii was too close, and part of the U.S., and I decided to leave it for when I'm "old". Well, I just turned 62 and I'm still not ready to stop traveling internationally! But I would love to go here one day. P.S., I love the strong red wines, so I laughed at your reaction, Cara. LOL
We flew from GA. I think if we lived in California we will go back ASAP! Ha! Please put it on your list! I cannot speak for any other of Hawaii’s islands, but Maui was the most beautiful and cleanest islands we have ever visited! In another one of our Maui videos we give some tips on Hawaiian discount rent a car & Hawaiian driving app. Both are must! Hope you’ll decide to visit Maui it was a dream get away, the two weeks weren’t enough time, we cannot wait to return! And the wine....ha ha 😂 you’ll have to stay tuned to see our wine tasting video. wow this is so beautiful I wish I could someday go to Hawaii but it is so far. I am from South Africa so to travel here would be multiple flights. I normally visit Indian ocean island closer to South Africa Great video. Is it very expensive to go out and visit here

The flights from the East coast of US were not that expensive, however it can be expensive to stay at the resort we stayed (it was gifted to us), but we found the food to be about the same cost both in restaurants and grocery stores. @@JohnandCaraRetiredTravellers South Africa has the most awesome nature, wildlife and probably most similar to the states compared to the rest of Africa Where I stay there are plenty of elephants and the rest of the big 5 like lion and rhinos leopards etc . I hope you can make it one day as there are places like Kruger national park and Cape Town that is well worth the visit
