If the target is close enough, and the missile is fired in the general direction of the target, it'll pick it up. US military ROE prohibit mad dog firings due to the remote possibility of accidentally hitting an unknown non-combatant or friendly aircraft within the same vicinity.
It would be but I don't expect any Ukranian F-16's to even get off the ground. There are only a couple of runways in the country capable of staging the F-16 from and the Russian will just pepper those runways constantly.

The Su-35's cockpit looks great! As the F-16s is the Block 70s, I would really like to see if the cockpit is rendered with the upgraded displays along with the increased capabilities of the AESA radar and improved engine. That would neat to see fly in missions.

@@milkelangelo1 he hornet doesnt have 360° sensors in all directions bro, and not to mention the F35 uses an HMD instead of an HUD which basically means it has a directional HUD, there is no need to "pull them into the HUD" because your eyes are litteraly the HUD. The hornet also has an HMD but its meant to compliment the HUD, not replace it like the F35
I love all US Military planes. My all time favorite though isn't a fighter ; I call it the Super Spy - the SR-71A BlackBirds. 3 of the most under-valued types of planes are ; tankers , cargo and AWAC & AEW&C. Tankers are the " BackBone " of all military aviation support. The SR-71's had their own tanker ; the KC-135Q. Most other planes were refueled by any of the other KC-135's that were active at the time. With cargo planes ; you can get the needed supplies The F-35's are now handling some of the same missions as the AWAC's and AEW&C were responsible for. Pilot training is another very overlooked aspect into what allows for a better outcome.

The Sukhoi 35M has high maneuverability in the air. It has two powerful engines and long-range R-77 missiles. It is considered a competitor to the 4++ generation, and the F-16 does not compete. This is a big difference.

What I don’t understand is why are the two vipers at such high altitude when you are basically in MR distance? They defend and went back up, just to be easy targets again…
yes, they made a mistake, if they hadn't made these mistakes they would be alive. The idea there I think is they climbed to increase their missiles range, and were hoping that the fact that there were 2 of them they could shoot and run and survive while the other guy pushed. Which is a decent strategy and was actually working there right up until one of them died. Then it all broke down.

I've said it before, the F-15 will always be my favorite, but for an "OPFOR" design, the Flanker series is one of the best.
I think the F-15E and Rafale are the coolest and most aggressive-looking aircraft. The Franker series looks the most beautiful and elegant.

Those are large, unguided rockets (S-25). They are quite usefull with computer assisted aiming and pack a hefy punch.
