MY KINDA SHIT. SENDING LOVE FROM PELL CITY ALABAMA
Just what I would have expected to hear on Ray Hicks historic porch on the side of Beech Mountain. You have done us "old time" banjer players justice. Singing is perfectly appropriate for the song. The heartfelt sound would have reverberated down Beech's hills and hollers and brought musical peace to one and all.
Very kind words, thank you!
Holy shit. AMAZING
Love it! 😀❤️🪕🎼
Sweet looking and sounding banjo!
Love this!
hi sounds great, what kind of strings and gauge are you using? If you dont mind me asking? Best regards Morten
Same as yours🙂
Your playing is great. Your singing ... give Pete Seeger's version a listen. You're enthusiastic, but I can't hear/understand what you're singing half the time. Still, it's basically loud enough, in tune. The timing of the singing is a bit different, but that's the blessing of folk music: they don't have to all be exact. Well done.
I would just as soon be hearing your version than Pete Seeger. It is two different types of singing. Perhaps having a voice mic close to your voice would satisfy the people who want to hear the words. Damned if I would have guessed it was “Rye Whiskey” at least the version I know. I think of a waltz approach. Yours is mountainy.
