Such an epic journey. Thank you for taking the time and putting in the hard work to bring us all along and share it with us! Trips like these keep the dream alive for all of us Outdoorsman that still look at remote places on maps and dream, and scan all around Google Earth and wonder! You are by far the best in the game and your professionalism, candor, genuineness, and hard work makes all content creators step up their game! Long overdue THANK YOU from me!
Don't sell yourself short Joe! You make wonderful content as well! Cheers from Central Maine. Hope to see you out there some day, my son and I truly enjoy your content.
Between Joe, Clay, and Jay I’m always watching a video! You 3 are my go to when it’s hard water season. And Joe I love to extra content that you bring! Like the other guy said, don’t sell yourself short!
I’m from egypt we never have ice or snow here so one of my dreams is going to the northern hemisphere one day and try camping and fishing.. your videos make me happier and wanna work harder to make this dream come true sooner … thank you so much for this amazing content
I gotta say out of all the UA-cam channels I watch you by far produce the best videos. From the content to the unbelievable editing, narrating, music selection. I mean it’s like a full blown production but also keeping the Vlog vibe. Well done. Thank you for motivating me to get out on the ice!
Jay, It's quite a feat to have connections like you have made. Going out on expeditions like this with BRP is something you probably dreamed of. All your work and videos are surely paying off. A Big THANK YOU for all this content and also to BRP people. I have a buddy working up in the Yukon and everything he has told me, couldn't believe until this video was up. I have a cousin who is also involved in wild life management in Nunavit.
You are lucky to have a chance to spend time on the land with Inuit guides. I spent a month on Baffin Island years ago, and our Inuit bear monitors were just wonderful to get to know. Also great seeing the community harvest tradition of sharing. Lovely fish.
Wow amazing video! i worked for 3 years in the Baffin region and i realized not enough people get to see the beauty of this place and how amazing the people living there are. Thanks for sharing
What an absolutely stunning landscape, That had to be nothing short of spiritual and exhilirating. Great cinematography Jay thanks for taking us along. Watching this from my home at the southernmost point in the US
Man, Jay that is a trip of a lifetime. Your videography is absolutely beautiful. You my man are living it... Keep the family safe, and before you know it, Landon will be there with you. Awesome adventure!!
Im a regular follower of your videos Jay. I was living and fishing in Manitoba last 20 years but 2002-2004 I was working and living in Gjoa Haven Nunavut. This video really brought me back. So glad you could go there and experience the land and the people. So glad you shared it with us.
I had the pleasure of working in nunavik (across the hudson strait from iqaluit) for roughly one hundred days last summer/fall. It is a remarkable part of our country with some beautiful landscapes and traditions. As Im an avid Fisherman I took the chances I had and enjoyed some shore fishing and catching the beautiful arctic char alongside some fat arctic cod. If you ever have the chance to visit in the late summer the char fishing is off the charts!
It’s a good thing you were on that “late” ice there or you’d not had enough extensions to miss that big one. ;) Thanks for sharing the story. I appreciate the epicness of it all and how you present it.
So many of us would love to go and do what you do. So yes, thank you for taking the time and effort to share the amazing Mother Earth with us. And GOD bless the men and women that work so hard up there. Now get back to that beautiful family you have.
Wow! I now have a new bucket list goal! Incredible place. Bought myself a 2024 skidoo expedition 900 and could not be happier. Thanks again Jay for taking us along
We’ve watch a lot of your video and enjoyed all of them but this one is a special video. What an amazing trip. Incredible journey that was so well documented. What a trip. Thanks for sharing this trip.
Jay, thanks for taking us on this incredible journey of Canada's north and introducing us to the gracious people of Iqaluit and other places you travelled to. Safe travel on your next fishing adventure.
That video flew by! Beautifully shot and presented, and edited into a wonderful, cinematic short film, this is the type of content that most creators can only dream of producing. Thanks also for presenting my country with such reverence and respect, for not only the landscape, but also the people and their traditions. Congratulations to all who contributed!
Jay's videos are among the best out there. Even on an ice fishing trip intended to be a commercial for ski doo, can am, and Nunavut tourism - I was still into it.
This video was the best video I've ever watched. Thanks for taking us on such an epic journey. Would love to see more adventures like this. I'm sure it's doesn't come about every day.
I had the good fortune to spend 9 days on the Sylvia Grinnell area back in may 2003. We rode across Frobisher bay from iqaluit as you did. The canyon you showed was exactly where I had to stop the sled for a look around. It was there I realized what a different world the arctic is. Ptarmigan on the bank to the right, white fox watching from up on the left side. We caught Char from the same spot you did. I could go on and on but this is your adventure video. Thanks for sharing
This A A Very Refreshing Post Jay ,from the Last you posted of Your family's Scar..I've never though of Late May Icefishing here in Northern Lower Michigan..The Codfish has to be a Thrill for sure and I love the Catching to feed the towns people...Happy to See your Swirch TO THE DOO..KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FOR US THANKS Jay
One of the coolest trips I have seen you go on. This was a sweet video to watch. You have some of the coolest content in the game. Keep up the great work.
What an experience! While I have never been that far north, there is certainly a beauty that can't be described in the North. Thanks Jay for sharing this experience with us. Definitely a place to go one day. Such a great video!
An absolutely awesome production Jay! You got to experience a bucket list trip that many of us dream of and then wrap it all up in this beautiful film. Thank you for sharing this amazing content and all that you do. You are truly an inspiration to us all. Tight lines!
My wife and I went to Iqaluit for our 25th wedding anniversary in 2013. Did some Arctic Char fishing in Sylvia Grennel Park in early July, and stayed for the July 1 Canada Day parade and fireworks. Awesome week. We wanted to go to say that we travelled to all 10 provinces and 3 territories in Canada.
Wow, i am overwhelmed with this video, Jay. The images were mind-blowing, I've worked in a brp dealership for many years in the past, and they are so nice to work with. Had many up north customers that ordered parts from me, i misse so much working with them! When you gain their trust, they are so loyal, and they refer their family and freinds.. yould love to go there sometime and share and hepl as you are planning to do. By the way, you are a professional filming and editing those fabulous videos ! ✌️👊👍👌♥️🐟
When I was still trapping with my dad, our trail was a 80 mile loop. Only ran into trouble once with our Tundra's and it was a mechanical failure on the starter. I still have one of our last Tundras that I use every winter.
Those cod look like some of the best eating fish. Kind of like a 16" walleye. Butter and garlic with bacon, fried in a pan. Tomatoes, green onions and avocado. Don"t forget the cillantro and toasted sesame seeds with steamed rice and soy sauce. OMG!!! So good. Great vid. Thank you. Been watching since ACA. Keep up the good work. Be safe.
That had to be nothing short of Spiritual!!! Thank you for sharing this incredible journey. Those people are rich with a whole different kind of wealth one not measured in dollars. Pure life
Incredible footages. The video is amazing Jay! Bravo! We can also catch Greenland cod et Atlantic cod thru the ice in winter in the Saguenay fjord, Quebec, Canada. I invite you for a fishing trip here. You have to try that!
What an amazing trip! I’ve only been up to Churchill and I loved that, going further North would be epic. I have a buddy in Iqualuit that I have to visit.
Hey Nills BRP if you read this please consider bringing back the Evinrude G2. The last rendition of it is absolutely fantastic! The best outboard ever produced. It never quite got a chance to prove itself. Great video Jay!
Wow what else can you say about that trip. The drone footage was ahhhhmazing. What an experience and adventure you had. Congrats bud. Memories for life for sure 👍 ❤🎣😎
This was amazing to watch. It gave me the same vibes as watching planet earth on discovery. Truly amazing filming and content on this trip. I'm very jealous, but happy for you :)
Crazy to think you were closer to Greenland than Winnipeg there! Our country sure is vast... It was hard not to get emotional watching this video, from the beautiful landscape to the beautiful people up north. Thank you for connecting us in this small way to them.
20 minutes into the video and I want to plan a trip here. The landscape views and community are amazing. We are truly blessed to have a place like this in Canafa
